Job Description

This role is responsible for leading the team accountable for the implementation and deployment of the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) capabilities of the Enterprise First Global template (built through SAP S4 concepts).

Objectives are to ensure the deployment of the global template supporting the execution of business processes related to Enterprise Asset Management which includes Plant Maintenance and the related Asset Planning processes. This role will adopt and adhere to PEP SAFe agile principles for the FLNA PGT project.

Enterprise Asset Management Processes relate to:

  • Plant Maintenance including Routine, Preventative, Corrective and Emergency Maintenance dispatch and scheduling of resources (labor and materials)
  • Procurement of contract labor and Spare Parts related to Maintenance and Management processes (partner with PTP)
  • Data governance related to Plant Fixed Assets, Labor and Inventory Management and Asset Intelligence Network (AIN)
  • Integration to Fleet legacy systems
  • Integration of back end SAP system with the front-line mobility solutions
  • Refurbishment Processes, scheduling and resource management
  • Documentation storage and retrieval (Repair Reference Materials)
  • Integration with manufacturing, warehouse systems as needed for equipment availability (downtimes) planning
  • Lead the day to day activities of the enterprise asset management team comprised of internal and external resources.
  • Partner with the Plant Maintenance and Asset Planning Deployment Value Stream Leads to implement and deploy the end-to-end solution.
  • Support decision-making for Plant Maintenance and Asset Planning localization of functionality in the Global Template during deployment.
  • Collaborate with the Plant Maintenance and Asset Planning Value Stream Leads and Business Unit SMEs to implement and deploy the Global Template.
  • Actively engage and educate business process owners on solution optimization, simplification and standardization capabilities.
  • Ensure lift and shift opportunities are deployed across the Markets, especially around interfaces to approved retained legacy or other SAP systems (IBP, ARIBA et al.)
  • Collaborate with all scrum to implement and deploy the end-to-end Global ERP solution leveraging agile methodology.
  • Work closely and collaborate with onshore and offshore scrum team members to ensure a prioritized and sufficient product backlog for the teams to work against.
  • Participate in key Sprint planning, retrospectives and other key ceremonies.
  • Along with the scrum team identify, monitor and implement key agreed-upon improvements.
  • Adopt and adhere to PepsiCo SAFe Agile principles and values:
  • Adopt development practices that focus on quality and value, while increasing efficiency, and minimizing waste
  • Foster an environment where communication, teamwork, and innovation are encouraged
  • Help to implement Agile engineering best practices such as continuous integration, automation of testing and delivery, and continuous peer-review within teams.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience configuring, deploying and managing SAP ERP with a focus on Plant Maintenance and Asset Planning; experience with Fleet Management is a plus
  • 2+ years of SAP S4 experience preferred.
  • Strong experience in end to end EAM design and development. And integration with other functional areas like finance, make to deploy and procure to pay
  • Experienced in managing and leading small teams
  • In-depth knowledge of Plant Maintenance and Asset Planning
  • Knowledge of all master data objects required to support the EAM (Bills of Material, Equipment Master, Maintenance Plans, Task List, PM Material Master, Work Center, Work/Entry Permits et al)
  • Deep and broad Enterprise Asset Management experience with Plant Maintenance and Asset Planning in a global capacity
  • Previous leadership role on a major SAP transformation project
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work flexible hours based on varying business requirements
  • Knowledge and experience in the following tools, disciplines and processes are nice to have: SAP SolMan 7+, Azure Dev Ops, Quality Center and MS Project
  • Solves highly complex problems within their work team
  • Strong influencing, facilitating and consulting skills in working with stakeholders at all levels in the organization and across departments
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changes in timelines and sequences
  • Adaptability and flexibility including the ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change
  • Consulting background a plus
