What You'll Do

Service Sales Specialist is a customer-facing role to own the overall success of Cisco service business in a geographic area, including management of account plan activities, generation of a balanced and healthy pipeline, forecast and achievement of bookings, contract profitability and client happiness.

The Sales Specialist Services is expected to engage with the client at the highest C-levels to understand customers strategy, customers needs, and their business requirements for appropriate Cisco service solution;

The Service Sales Specialist is expected to generate and close complex, digital groundbreaking deals.

In this job you will,

  • Dedicatedly engage with the customer executives to sustain and build deep relationships to become a trusted advisor
  • Identify customer business issues, challenges, care-abouts
  • Communicate issues and solutions to executives in a way, which is thought-provoking and insightful.
  • Present a comprehensive groundbreaking business case (includes a customer problem/challenge) describing how Ciscos solutions align with the customers strategy and encouraged business outcomes;
  • As needed, calculate the customers positive return on investment demonstrating the value of the Ciscos proposed solution.
  • Negotiate the terms of an agreement, including, but not limited to price, service scope (SoW) and close sales aligned to committed times and volumes
  • Capture market and industry information
  • Provide and commit to reliable business Forecasts and work against annual Goals  

Who You Are

  • You have at least 5years experience in solution sales as Account Manager or Service Account Manager
  • You are native in German and fluent in English.
  • You have sales or service delivery experience in the Enterprise market
  • You have experience in building partner interlocks and also presenting analysis and business outcomes in a concise and detailed way
  • You have the ability to coordinate multiple related initiatives effectively by leading cross-functional teams.
  • You have the ability to influence decisions related to Cisco services and Cisco technologies across customers IT and Lines of business
  • You have solid understanding of IT Service Management and the ability to map differentiated Cisco Services into existing or IT Service landscapes
  • Ideally you have knowledge of Cisco services offerings, software portfolio, data & analytics, security and industry trends (e.g. cloud)
  • You are self-organized and self-motivated
  • You have long time experience with Solutions Sales, IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Usage as well as Services Lifecycle Management/Installed Base (IB) Management
