Job Summary
The HIVE Sales Analyst will support the National Director of Sales for all HIVE brands and will work closely with PepsiCos internal Supply Chain, Brand Teams and Data/Analytics group along with customer facing Broker and Distributor partners. This is a perfect role for someone who is detail oriented, is an Excel whiz, has excellent communication skills and wants to dig in and learn every aspect of the sales process. In fact, a roll up your sleeves mindset is a key value of the HIVE. You will be successful by helping to streamline processes, working closely with cross-functional partners to keep on top of every detail of in-store execution, and leveraging data to know the business cold by working with distributor portal data along with syndicated data to help drive our Brands retail decisions.
Responsibilities:
Sales prospecting
Maintain retailer review calendars and work with the broker partner to schedule presentations
Be the primary contact and lead the outgoing sales sample requests.
Sales support
Manage deduction reconciliation and solve for discrepancies
Maintain and input promo calendar/activity into PEP sales planner (with direction from Mgr)
Channel Management
Lead the new item/new customer setup process
Working closely with Customer service; be responsible for PO inbound tracking, reconciliation and management of outbound shipment tracking
Partner with Finance, Shopper Marketing & Brand teams to track and manage the trade budget
In-Store Execution: Lead the end to end in-store promotion execution including but not limited to; compliance monitoring, execution logistics, POS material management, shipper inventory mgt.
Real-time Performance Tracking
Collaborate with HIVE Data team to maintain regular cadence reporting metrics
Be primary data analyst for distributor portal data along with Syndicated to help drive decisions
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelors degree required
Direct sales experience working with distributors, conventional & natural retailers and brokers.
Advanced skills in MS Powerpoint and Excel (incl. Pivot tables, vlookups and other critical formulas)
Meaningful experience and literacy in syndicated data sources including IRI, SPINS, KeHE/UNFI Portal Data. Experience in PEP Prosper system a plus but not required.
Excellent analytical skills demonstrated ability to translate information and data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
Solid organizational and project management skills ability to manage multiple projects at once, able to establish priorities, strong detailed execution
Ability to understand and translate analytics and insights into recommendations and themes
Strong organizational, communication skills and collaboration skills with team members
Willingness and ability to learn/quickly adapt to other internal support systems
Independent & motivated individual
Ability to receive direction and convert into an action plan with coaching and feedback
Develops strong relationships/partnership for overall success of the team & customer
CPG industry experience preferred
Entrepreneurial mindset while working in a matrix organization.
