Sales Operations Manager, Partner Managed & XaaS Sales

Who Youll Work With

Join the team leading Ciscos global sales and channel strategy for Partner Managed Services & XaaS Sales. You will work with a team of change agents who are focused on Ciscos success as we move further into managed service and as-a-service consumption models. Team members will engage with multiple sales organizations to enable this transition.

In this role you will enable Cisco field sellers to implement managed service sales enablement strategy and orchestrate the global execution across numerous Cisco sales and channel organizations.

You can expect to be involved in the development and implementation of business processes and solutions that align to company and partner organization objectives.

The right candidate will be a doer that has a successful track record in dealing with complex scenarios that require cross-functional engagement across multiple sales, operations and finance organizations with a strong expertise in data acquisition/enrichment/troubleshooting.

You are able to work effectively in large organizations, participating in multiple cross-functional teams.

What Youll Do

In this position you will work closely with the subject matter experts across many organizations within Cisco in the development of the business processes/solutions. You will engage with sales, finance and operations teams to ideate, define and implement business processes that enable field sellers to drive partner managed services and as-a-Service offers.

You will be expected to:

Develop and maintain cross-functional working relationships within the Regional Partner Organizations, regional Sales Finance Orgs, and Worldwide Sales Operations

Provide governance, oversight, and recommendations for enhancement of Managed Services Compensation Policy to enable field sellers to drive Partner managed services sales

Provide New Year Readiness support for MS Provider teams to ensure sales and compensation alignment for the Partner Managed route to market and XaaS portfolio

Enhance and articulate Ciscos Partner managed services business policies, processes and performance in both visual and verbal form

Develop business cases to support sales initiatives including enhancements to compensation plans, sales spiffs and promotions, manual crediting processes

To do this, you will need a unique blend of experience working in both technical, sales enablement and people leadership skills.

Who You Are

You are comfortable leading the development and execution of business policy/process aligned with Ciscos Partner Managed Service & XaaS Sales strategy. You are capable of executing on your own when needed but eager to engage cross functionally to scale and extend your impact. And you are self-motivated to keep abreast of advancements in corporate learning, particularly in high-scale environment, and bring these learnings and new ideas into your work.

Required Skills

6+ years total work experience at a top technology company in a business and/or sales operations role

Experience working in diverse, dynamic and cross-functional teams

Experience with data acquisition and analysis tools such as Tableau, Business Objects and Microsoft Excel

In-depth knowledge of Cisco processes and practices pertaining to field sales policy, crediting and compensation is a plus

Deep understanding of Ciscos data repositories, informational systems, and sales crediting flows

Self-starter who thrives and can multitask in fast-paced and often ambiguous environments

Ability to clearly organize and articulate complex business scenarios

Presentation creation capabilities around complex topics and telling stories through data

This position can be based in the USA or Canada with reasonable proximity to a major airport. Travel will vary with return to normal business from COVID, expect up to 25% travel long term. This is a global role, supporting Cisco stakeholders and partners around the world; flexibility for meetings outside of local business hours will be required.
