ADP is hiring an Sales Operations Manager - AWS Engineer. This position performs a variety of functions. The duties include lead Sales responsibility for ADP technical systems, as well as supporting key business initiatives to increase effectiveness and improve sales performance.

You would be a key engineer on the team who will:

  • Be responsible for the implementation and growth of certain elements of the AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Build software solutions where the problem is not well defined.
  • Design and define the interaction between the solution components and other systems where applicable.
  • Build highly scalable, cloud-native applications using services like Amazon API Gateway, etc.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software-development experience
  • 2+ years programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
  • 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new current systems
  • Experience using AWS
  • Experience designing and building web environments on AWS, which includes working with services like EC2, ELB, RDS, and S3

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
  • Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
  • Experience in several tech tools and platforms like Hadoop, Kafka, Kubernetes, Redshift, Scala, Spark, or SQL
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project
  • Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
  • Prior experience working in a Sales Operations (DevOps) environment
