Who You'll Work With

Here at Cisco Cloud Security, we are hiring the best, the sharpest and most motivated professionals to join our awesome Sales Development Team as a dedicated Sales Engineer! In this role, you'll be working with our seasoned account executives to help them with technical conversations and deployments in their security deals. We believe in promoting from within, and with the current growth plans and the acceleration we're seeing in our business, strong performance in this role could lead to promotion to an inside sales executive position.

In this highly-prized role, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly assess customer opportunities will be essential to your success. We're looking for professionals with strong organizational and follow up skills who work well in a team environment. What You'll Do

  • 2+ years of experience in Enterprise Networking, Security, IoT and cloud technology. Cisco product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings in the technology area of emphasis required. Pre-Sales experience required.
  • Proficiency and familiarity with the Cloud Security Architecture.
  • Industry recognized Certifications (CCNA, CCNP) are preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and make valuable contributions to the team. Demonstrate technical knowledge and consultative skills.
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to assess a problem and recommend an effective course of action.
  • Knowledge of baseline SE skills and knowledge in a specific technology.
  • Knowledge of solutions sets that are relevant to our customers, product line specifications, performance criteria, and applications.
  • Understanding and conversant about company, solutions and product strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
