The Healthcare Manager Supervisor (HCS) facilitates the Healthcare Manager/ Coordinator team to assist in developing patient empowerment through direct oversight of assigned team members. The HCS is responsible for monitoring outcomes of department goals, coaching and mentoring of team productivity and fiscally responsible for positive impact to dept. budget. Additionally, oversight includes managing team schedules to ensure patient continuity of care, providing float coverage as needed, collaborating with Health Coach Manager to mitigate team and operational risks, and addressing team concerns regarding patient care. The HCS will monitor and positively impact cost in care. When needed during float coverage, the Healthcare Manager Supervisor interacts and collaborates with multidisciplinary care teams to include physicians, nurses, pharmacists, laboratory technologists, social workers, and other educators to support the transition of care process. The Healthcare Manager Supervisor serves as a point of contact to the team and acts as a resource for clinic staff as needed. The Healthcare Manager Supervisor works in a less structured, self-directed environment and performs all nursing duties within the scope of an RN license of the applicable state board of nursing. Extensive regional traveling required.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct oversight to Health Care Managers/Coordinators assigned to employed clinics in the DFW area
  • Travel to clinics 70% of the time within market
  • Create and monitor monthly reporting to stakeholder team
  • Serve as primary point of contact for any escalated member issues or concerns
  • Visit with health coaches monthly in their primary job setting
  • Perform specific job training for new hires to their team
  • Monitor for trends on workloads, inter-disciplinary referrals, outcomes, satisfaction.
  • Perform supervisory activities, such as approval of time off, time cards, managing overtime and performance reviews
  • Perform bi-weekly 1-1 meetings with team
  • Develop insights into team performance and individual opportunities
  • In conjunction with the health coach manager, create an individual development plan and annual goals. Discussions on both of these topics should occur quarterly
  • Perform quarterly chart audits as required to ensure compliance with required activities
  • Coordinate and cooperate with other members of the Clinical Operations team
  • Attend required meetings
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
