The Clinical Integration Implementation Manager (CIIM) plays a significant role in the pre-acquisition due diligence review process with identification and guidance of appropriate transition processesThe role of this Registered Nurse will focus on discovery and exploration of services provided, to include identifying appropriate transition of services, post due diligence process.  This position will include discussion and implementation of clinical policies, procedures, processes and operating guidelines of the WellMed organization. This employee will carry out the approved project plan established for integrations, maintaining all budget and time restraints. This role has assistive accountability for successful collaboration with the clinical and administrative team members, and works cross-functionally with corporate and market interdisciplinary, functional areas (e.g., acquisitions, contracting, credentialing, accounts receivable, billing, claims, compliance, legal, marketing, sales, medical management, finance, member services, information technology, compliance, and facilities) to achieve established market goals and objectives from potential acquisition through clinical due diligence to integration of the clinical practice and final transition to the Clinical Operations team.   The Clinical Integration Implementation Manager will provide support for clinical due diligence activities as assigned.  The registered nurse will work directly with the Senior Director, Enterprise Clinic Due Diligence, serving as a clinical expert, to review, identify, and document all clinical and supportive operational processes of a potential and/or acquired clinic. Directly partners with the Acquisition team, Integrations team, Clinical Operations team and the Market to ensure capability of certain projects and to provide necessary information to achieve cooperative planning.

This position requires up to 75% travel throughout the Texas and Florida markets.  

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Actively assists in clinic due diligence assessments of potentially acquired facilities
  • Effectively collaborates amongst the due diligence team, as well as the acquisition, operations, and integrations teams, as indicated across the enterprise
  • Actively participates in effective transition plan identification for specialty service matters, with the ability to accommodate the individual practice appropriately. Identifies variances in operational structure and function between current and desired state
  • Collaborately provides support to eliminate the identified variances
  • Engages appropriate resources to provide, tools and support to clinic and / or market team to reach desired stated as it relates to clinical processes throughout the due diligence process
  • Provides clinical expertise  and serves as  a resource to the clinic and / or market team to ensure performance targets are met, with a focus on quality and risk adjustment goals, throughout the due diligence process
  • Identifies clinical and business risk issues that impact successful integration of the clinic and engages proper resources to ensure solution as it relates to clinical processes
  • Ensures engagement of entire market team in successful transition of the clinic and / or market onboarding to the defined desired state
  • Ensures  due diligence timelines are met in accordance with the approved project plan
  • Maintains and builds relationships across business groups
  • Completes Practice Health and Safety Assessments as assigned
  • Completes Medical Chart Reviews as assigned
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned
