Sodexo is seeking a Retail Manager 3 for UC Memorial Hospital Central located in Colorado Springs, CO. As the Retail Manager, you will have oversight of multiple food retail locations and drive strategic growth. Retail operations include cafes and coffee shops at 4 locations with a retail revenue of 4.5 million annually. We are looking for an innovative leader who is comfortable with technology advances and learning new retail programs. Salary: $50,000 - $65,000The successful candidate will:

  • partner with department staff to establish strategic plans and long-term goals for all retail operations.
  • identify areas of opportunity for operational process improvement. Design solutions that solve operational problems or improve current processes.
  • serve as the voice of retail operations and share expertise with others
  • pro-actively plan to ensure alignment and resource availability for retail  initiatives. Identify and resolve conflicting priorities.
  • lead, coach and develop direct and indirect reports. Empower team members with accountability and ownership. Achieve success through others. Provide clarity around priorities and goals.
  • provide stellar customer service;
  • oversee implementation of new technology systems (i.e. mobile ordering), programming and maintenance;
  • ensure company food and physical safety programs and standards are followed;
  • conduct retail brand standard audits (in-house and national brands);
  • maintain integrity of retail branded concept standards (national and in-house brands);
  • manage the opening and closing the operation as well daily retail food service operations;
  • ensure all needed signage (including digital) is in place;
  • manage vendor relationships and compliance; 
  • maintain all product merchandising, marketing and ordering standards are in place.

Position Summary

Responsible for food quality & customer service in an operation that may have branded concepts or other retail offerings. Directs the work of hourly and supervisory food service workers, as well as other managers.Key Duties- Ensures there is a zero harm mindset for ourselves, our customers, our food & employees.- Directs daily operations of food quality & customer service in a retail food operation that may include branded concepts ensuring that employees have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources.- Manages cash handling protocols & control procedures according to Sodexo policies.- Maintains client satisfaction for food quality & customer service.- Accountable for the execution of service quality by maintaining the highest level of delivery. - Supervises day-to-day work activities of food service workers, supervisors & managers. 

 

 

 

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experienceBasic Management Experience - 2 years Basic Functional Experience 1 year of work experience in concessions, retail sales, or store operations
