Sodexo is seeking a Retail Manager 2 (of Food Service) in North Bergen, NJ

 

Sodexo is looking for a Retail Manager 2 for Palisades Medical Center, a Community Hospital in North Jersey.  The qualified candidate should be familiar with foodservice operations, and be willing to learn and implement Sodexo systems in conjunction with the rest of the management team.  palisades 202 bed acute care hospital along with a 240 bed long term care facility. 

 

In this role, you will be directing and participating in all of daily food operations for their full-service Cafe. Responsibilities will include:  cash handling/management, , scheduling, inventory/ordering, training and development of staff, direct customer interaction, catering and supervision of up to 20 union hourly associates.  Also, you will be responsible for overseeing other areas of operations such as the Patient Meal services on a as needed basis.  Total Retail volume of 1.1 million., catering volume of 150k.  Responsible for employee and visitor cafe.   

 

The successful candidate will possess at least 2 years food management experience with a focus on retail operations, a solid understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines, computer literacy as well as excellent leadership, communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications & Requirements
