The Resort Executive Chef is responsible for planning and directing food preparation and culinary activities for all of the food outlets at a well-known Ski Resort.

  • Manage all levels of menu development, budgeting and food/labor costing.
  • Provide on-going mentoring, coaching and training to direct reports.
  • Lead and supervise a team of 60 or more employees.
  • Work in partnership with the General Manager to create menus.
  • Ensure catering food execution meets quality standards. 
  • Ensure staff follow Aramark Health and Safety Program, Occupational Health and Safety Act and WHMIS regulations.
  • Estimate food/labor costs, manage proper inventory levels and order ingredients.
  • Provide on-going training and development to direct reports.



  • A minimum five years of experience in a Senior Sous Chef or Executive Chef role managing a multi-unit operation within a resort setting or sports & entertainment venue.
  • Red Seal preferred but not required.
  • Good computer knowledge (e.g. Microsoft Word and Excel).
  • Experience in menu costing, menu planning and food preparation.
  • Demonstrates strong financial/analytical abilities.
  • ServSafe training an asset.
  • Health & Safety Certification an asset.
