The Advisory Board Research Partner program is the premier Research membership that serves both health system and health industry members. It includes global access to all Advisory Board Research, with additional customized support for each member. These partnerships are long-term, typically lasting 3 to 5 years. Our team is embedded within our members in order to build trusted advisor relationships. We gain knowledge of our members strategies, their operational and organizational strengths and challenges, and use this insight to tailor our research and help them accelerate progress.

""

We are seeking a Research Advisor to join the Partner team. In this role, individuals will leverage our research to assist our members in fulfilling their goals. This may include driving utilization of self-service research, adapting research and tools to address specific member needs, or developing focused educational sessions with our experts. This team member will also contribute to development of scalable methods, templates, and data sources to deliver on commonly requested custom research projects and identify new potential delivery tools. In addition, this individual will help develop and manage the processes by which we serve our Advisory Board Partners, especially those related to value-driven program management. This resource will need to build and manage client relationships for those custom projects that they are supporting or leading, as well as for the member(s) at which they are serving as the end-to-end program manager.

""

Ideal individuals for this role are skilled at program management, consulting (especially strategy consulting), and building and managing client relationships. This individual will need to work across and with different research subject matter experts and teams required to deliver on a potential custom research effort, and therefore needs to excel in collaboration and facilitation within a highly matrixed environment. As the Partner product is relatively new, there is still much to be defined and evolved resources comfortable with ambiguity and excited by white space will be energized by this work. Resources who prefer to work in a more established environment with clear roles and responsibilities and fully defined processes may find this role draining.
