Job Description

The Finance Senior Analyst- Reporting position is a member of the North American Shared Services (NASS) team and contributes to the success of PepsiCo, Inc. by providing Accounts Receivable and Credit Management teams with data and analysis needed to mitigate risk, minimizing bad debt expense, drive unconventional revenue, enhance productivity and improve cash flow.

Specific accountabilities of the role include but are not limited to;

  • Routine reporting & analysis of productivity metrics, cash flow trends and workflow trends
  • Responsibility for key control reporting and supporting analysis
  • Preparing appropriate and insightful statistical analysis for internal partners
  • Summarize key performance for Senior Leadership
  • Research and identify key drivers associated with data/reports published
  • Development and implementation of innovative reporting solutions with the purpose of continually improving the speed of delivery and reducing the time investment required to prepare reports
  • Continuous monitoring and auditing of data to ensure data integrity standards and control requirements are being met
  • Contribute to internal process improvements by developing a deep understanding of operations teams across NASS A/R & Credit
  • Create & manage multiple competing projects while partnering with internal support functions and customers
  • Develop, maintain, query, and optimize data warehouses
  • Serve as business/functional expert in the arena of data import, extract file and associate processing jobs
  • Perform monthly analysis of A/R operations
  • Drive organizational efficiency through automation, technology and streamlining efforts
  • Leverage technology to support initiatives across the NASS Organization
  • Support financial close reporting activities as needed
  • Facilitate team projects that support A/R and Credit needs

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Expert Microsoft Office skills; Excel, Access, Business Objects, VBA
  • Strong SQL programming skills
  • Prior Experience in a Financial Reporting role
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data
  • Must be dependable as well as willing and able to adjust work schedule to meet business needs
  • Strong Communication Skills (verbal and written) with the ability to interact with multiple levels of internal and external partners
  • Self-motivated & results-oriented
  • Works well in a team environment; open to peer development feedback
  • Can influence others without direct authority
  • Ability to translate operational needs into deliverable reporting packages
  • Comfortable challenging status quo to drive improvement
  • Must have an eye for detail; ability to audit data sets for reasonability
  • Four-year degree in computer science, information technology, math, accounting, business or finance degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of A/R processes
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direction and oversight
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage and complete multiple concurrent projects involving multiple stakeholders
