**What You Will Achieve**

+ Your technical skills will help us keep our plants, utility systems, buildings and equipment up and running. Pfizer will rely on you for maintenance, redesign, repair of utilities in our plants. In your role, you will undertake the necessary preventive and corrective steps for setting priorities, forecasting and allocating resources for the maintenance tasks.

**Job Responsibility**

+ Perform maintenance and inspection activities on plant equipment according to procedures, good engineering practices and cGMP.

+ Develop and execute the predictive maintenance programs, collect data, analyze, generate report and recommend corrective actions/improvements to reduce equipment failures.

+ Develop maintenance programs to maintain plant assets. Review and modify the PM/PdM to improve equipment reliability.

+ Ensure smooth equipment operation by close monitoring of the equipment conditions. Carrying out root cause failure analysis to improve product quality and equipment reliability.

+ Lead, coordinate and execute major equipment repair and troubleshooting.

+ Confirm and verify equipment performance by designing feasibility inspection and testing methods, testing properties and equipment monitoring parameters.

+ Determine acceptability of equipment rework/installation by conducting inspections of reworked equipment and new installation job.

+ Support project design, construction and commissioning through active involvement in commissioning activities, discuss equipment improvement and modifications with vendors/Supervisors/Engineers. Ensure new safety equipment identified.

+ Lead/participate in continuous improvement initiatives, support (IRS/QAR) investigations/root cause analysis and write investigation report for approval.

+ Ensure the appoint inspectors of critical safety devices. All safety equipment are comply with local regulations.

+ Perform inspection of critical vessels and piping using API 510(Vessel) , API 570(Piping) and API 575(Storage Tank) standard.

+ Provide training (e.g. OJT) and coaching to colleagues to build-up their competencies.

+ Participate IMEx Process Centric Team Tier 1 meetings and address engineering issues based on priority.

+ Develop and support TPM-OPC checklists, train and coach operation team in OPC tasks and knowledge.

+ Complete all assigned training on-time and also prior to work execution.

+ Contribute to team effort by accomplishing desired results/KPIs.

KPI's include:

+ Safety incident / lost time

+ Equipment uptime %

+ Critical PM overdue (safety and process critical equipment)

+ Maintenance Expenses (Actual versus Budget)



+ NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering related qualifications.

+ Minimum 5 years of relevant experiences in pharmaceutical, chemical, or petrochemical industries.

+ Knowledge of Reliability Maintenance, RightFirst Timetechnique and performance base management.

+ Experience in a large, global and complex organization would be an advantage

+ Able to handle multiple projects concurrentlyand possess project management experience

+ Able toinfluencestakeholders orBusiness Leaders and to build trust throughout the organization

+ Demonstratedcapability to thrivein a complex and matrix environment

+ Able to work with ambiguity

+ Demonstrated problem-solving and relationship management skills

+ Demonstrated consultative skills

+ Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

+ Experience in reliability based maintenance practices

+ Demonstrated ability to write and provide simple and accurate instructions

+ Demonstrated computer and technical skills

+ Excellent interpersonal communication and written skills


+ Knowledge or experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices {also cGMP} environment
