We are looking for a ReleaseOps Engineer to join the DNA Center team. This includes building highly reliable and scalable services and designing innovative full-stack technical solutions. You MUST be passionate about Technology and demonstrated strong execution capabilities.

As we build the new network, we need you to bring your new ideas and enthusiasm to jump into opportunities, transforming industries as they emerge and grow. You will collaborate with a creative team to take on some of the toughest challenges in the tech world.

What You'll Do

  • You will Govern the Release throughout its lifecycle for continuous delivery of high-quality software to production.
  • measure and monitor progress to ensure releases are delivered on time and that they meet or exceed expectations
  • You will Focus on velocity, quality, and predictability via automation, monitoring and auditing of the CI/CD Release Process
  • You will define branching strategy
  • You will define and enforce quality gates
  • .
  • You will interlock with all teams (PMO, Development Apps and Platform, DevOps, SIT, and Solution).
  • You will Provide guidance to team members.
  • You will Build project plans; work break down and progress tracking.
  • You will Follow and drive agile methodology in SDLC.

Required experience in:

  • Work with the engineering team during the feature design and implementation phases to develop build pipelines and related automation.
  • Working with team members in multiple teams diagnosing and debugging complex systems, and participating in investigating build, deployment and operational issues

Whom You'll work with

  • You will work with development and QA managers to understand the product requirements, work with Engineers and architects to understand the design and architecture of the product and ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
  • You will work with PMO to provide  Technical expertise in the integration of the building blocks.
  • You will Coordinate and collaborate with Delivery Teams, DevOps, QA, and Platform Engineering to ensure that all of the engineering's responsibilities for a release are met prior to release.

Who You Are

You enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with a take-charge / attitude and is able to demonstrate flexibility and resiliency.

  • BS/BA in Engineering, Computer Science
  • 10+ years of working in Software Field, in Development or Testing
  • 3+ years of experience successfully managing change in a dynamic, global work environment
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a cross-functional environment, cross-site, and cross-time zones.
  • Outstanding attention to details and commitment to excellence
  • System debugging knowledge
  • Strong oral and written communicator, with good interpersonal skills; able to forge trusting relationships within a diverse team and across organizations

Technical Knowledge

  • Hands-on software development and operation of Build, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment, Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, Docker, Kubernetes, Ant/Maven/Gradle
  • Experience managing and administering an SCM (e.g. Bitbucket/Git/SVN)
  • Experience with automating manual processes, as well as knowledge of automation in a CI/CD context + Python, Bash, Groovy scripting experience.

       Good knowledge of Code Quality and Security Analysis tools like SonarQube, Clover, and Fortify.

       Comfortable with Networking Technologies

       Experience on AWS or any other cloud platform is a plus.
