Job Description

The Regional Warehouse Director contributes to the success of the Pepsi Beverages Company by leading the regional warehouse team (satellite & production) to ensure product is available to meet customer needs and that warehouse assets are maintained to meet supply chain demands. This individual must set priorities & achieve quality, safety, cost, service, execution & people standards. Additionally, this role is responsible for partnering with HQ to own & execute national warehouse strategies.

Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
AOP & Business Results Leadership:

  • Deliver Region plan costs, Volume, MC & Profit Targets
  • Prioritize and Develop Action Plans to Achieve Best-in-Class Warehouses
  • Lead Warehouse Transformation at the Region level; Change Leadership; Roll out and Sustainment of the Transformation; ie GEO, Chilled, WMS, DPS, Automation etc
  • Develop COEs for key warehouse transformation and capability initiatives (2 per Region)
Grow Productivity & Reduce Costs:
  • Build and deliver cost plan; Lead controllable cost and FTE productivity initiatives to achieve targets
  • Lead Region Service agenda to achieve improved customer satisfaction on annual survey build plans and execute against service metrics replace with: Lead One Whse Service Agenda identified via AOP planned metrics
  • Work with Sector & Field Finance partners to reconcile productivity target variances across production and satellite warehouses
Enhance & Own our Talent Agenda:
  • Deliver EHS and Environmental Program Elements & Practices
  • Lead regulatory compliance for control, environmental and safety and achieve key quality and EHS metrics
  • Own talent strategy; develop functional Region bench depth for Warehouse
  • Lead Region employee engagement and capability strategy to improve satisfaction, retention, labor relations and diversity

Qualifications/Requirements

  • A minimum of ten years of prior work experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • A minimum of five years of prior work experience in a management position
Preferred Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Sales experience
  • Location Leader Experience
  • Financial Literacy
  • Prior experience in the consumer packaged goods industry
  • Demonstrated ability to function successfully in a fast paced, changing work environment
