The Sales RVP is responsible for the overall vision, strategy, productivity, compliance, and effectiveness of the sales organization for a defined region. The role fosters close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and is accountable for achieving a new member budget of enrollment, in the skilled nursing facility setting, for their region.

The Regional Vice President is accountable for achieving health plan enrollment / growth goals by developing and executing upon strategic business plans consistent with state and federal regulations for the institutional special needs plan.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Establish annual budgets and market specific strategies to achieve desired growth goals
  • ""
  • Provide oversight of sales initiatives to ensure growth targets are met within metrics established for operational efficiency
  • ""
  • Utilize problem solving skills and identify opportunities for sales process improvement
  • ""
  • Drive adherence to the CCM (Complex Care Management) sales model
  • ""
  • Deploy sales personnel and resources to ensure targets are achieved, regardless of geography (Utilize resources within the region to maximize results)
  • ""
  • Leads change management to build organizational understanding of proposed changes within the industry, organization, or department
  • ""
  • Establishes and/or manages performance management programs and metrics
  • ""
  • Collaborates with internal resources to ensure personnel management and development occurs
  • ""
  • Prioritizes training objectives for selling, sales management, and sales support roles. Ability to develop other leaders
  • ""
  • Oversees sales compensation plan administration as required
  • ""
  • Serves as a subject matter expert on the Institutional Special Needs Plan and the Medicare Marketing Guidelines

  • Drives annual performance review process and goal setting for region

  • Hiring, training and development of all sales staff

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of college degree from an accredited institution
  • ""
  • Ability to obtain appropriate state licensure, as soon as possible, not to exceed 90 days
  • ""
  • Maintain licensure and product certification based on policies and procedures
  • ""
  • 3+ years in sales or new business development management
  • ""
  • Computer knowledge in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • ""
  • Extensive use of a CRM (Salesforce, Siebel, etc.)
  • ""
  • Sales Management Skills
  • ""
  • Technical knowledge of the healthcare industry, especially long - term care Medicaid and Medicare
  • ""
  • Ability to lift to 50lbs on occasion
  • ""
  • Ability to work a variety of hours, early morning, evenings, and weekends, as required by various sales activities
  • ""
  • This position requires extensive national travel
  • ""

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $90,000 to $175,000. Role is also eligible to receive bonuses based on sales performance.
