What You'll Do

You will be responsible for growing Ciscos Cloud & Software business in Enterprise & Commercial Segments.  This will focus on the Strategic pieces of the Portfolio.  You help to execute the Cloud & Software sales strategy aligning with each of the CISG RMs. You will Lead a Virtual Team of a high performing Cloud & Software Consultants. These folks will handle any Non-Named Accounts that need to have engagement around the Strategic Nature of the Portfolio.

Overall objectives and responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute on a strategic sales plan for the Americas aligned with the CISG RMs
  • Lead a Virtual Team of Consultants + Help to set the direction & strategy for all
  • Be the voice of Cloud & Software for the Area
  • Drive forecast accuracy on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Cross-functionally align with the following organizations: Advanced Services, Other vertically focused or technology focused teams, Sales leadership (OD, RM, SSEM, SEM) and Marketing
  • Develop executive relationships across the customer base
  • Assist account teams in optimally packaging, pricing, and presenting solution to customer, including return on investment and value proposition
  • Set  Enablement Priorities: Develop and execute the training plan that will ensure Cisco's Cloud & Software Consultants team are adequately trained to effectively drive the portfolio. Ensure enablement of Sales Teams and Partners to understand and position the technology and the impact that the solution will have on the customer's business outcome.
  • Demand Generation:  Define Technical Decision Maker Demand Generation-Define the Demand Generation priorities, events and resources that will accelerate our business.
  • Strategic Engagement: Work with product development, Strategy and Planning and Sales teams to resolve strategic challenges that arise as a result of our rapid transformation. Establish partnerships and credibility with senior business and technology executives within Cisco.
  • Customer and Partner Engagement: Regularly interact with partner and customers. Nurture a culture of seamless collaboration with partners and customers.

Who You Are

You have a minimum of 5 years of selling experience and demonstration of overachievement in demanding environments. Youll need to collaborate with account teams, finance, field sales, channels, business unit, customer advocacy and marketing personnel. You will coordinate work with extended team to identify and close opportunities. You will work with executive management to identify specific behaviors, knowledge, and skill areas for focus and evaluation of general sales team. Youll also develop and drive strategic sales activity and thought leadership around datacenter solutions through cross-functional collaboration with marketing, channels, product management and other advanced technologies
