Job Summary:

The Regional Accountable Care Organization (ACO) Development Director is part of a multi-faceted team that is committed to improving healthcare outcomes and successful execution for the ACO.

This position requires strong project management experience, exceptional communication and presentation skills necessary to conduct presentations and lead ACO meetings.

The Regional ACO Director provides management leadership and coordination of ACO oriented programs as well as establishing and maintaining relationships with key ACO leaders and market stakeholders. This position is responsible for the successful program development design and implementation, identifying opportunities and issues, making recommendations regarding the ACO initiatives, and communication with the business groups involved. Incentive compensation for this role is available and tied to market performance and outcomes.

The ACO Director will work closely with the UHS Regional Vice President, the ACO Director, and the Prominence Health Plan CEO to execute the strategic and operational program management for the ACO.

Job Requirements

Regulatory Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business or related Health Care degree, MBA, or Masters in Public Health.
  • Five years of Operations Management experience working within the ACOs, provider networks, contracting and managed care operations.
  • Working experience in value-based care arrangements and in creating and maintaining ACO provider relationships, engagement and buy-in.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish preferred

Skills:

  • Ability to convey goals and objectives clearly and in a compelling manner; listen effectively and clarify as needed;
  • Confidence in decision-making.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical ability, excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage projects and multiple priorities at the same time.
  • Self-motivated and able to provide results with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in managing multiple project and reporting.
  • Able to regularly travel to the Companys offices and ACOs sites.
