The RCM PB Trainer & Support role primarily serves in the EMR Department to work in ourSecaucus Administrative office in New Jersey. The RCM PB Trainer & Support role works in conjunction with the EMR Director and as part of a team to supportand maintain the clinical information system. The candidate develops and maintains a positiveworking relationship with physicians and user departments to ensure appropriate training andutilization of Epic Systems EMR.

Primary Responsibilities:

    ""
  • Leads end-user training using workflow specific curricula. This includes preparing for class, setting up the classroom, facilitating the class, and following up on any outstanding questions that arise in the classroom
  • ""
  • Conducts classroom or virtual trainings for end-users on Epic, including all clinical and business applications with additional healthcare technologies
  • ""
  • Lead contributes on revenue cycle base team to design and establish cash-flow optimization tools, improving a clean claim
  • ""
  • Reports feedback from trainees in class to the reporting lead of application and training department
  • ""
  • Partners with Application Analysts to implement effective end user training plans and practices
  • ""
  • Align professional billing training manuals with the organizations new workflows through the Epic Quarterly upgrades
  • ""
  • Collaborates with Epic application analysts and revenue cycle directors to optimize Epic functionality and increase organizations earnings
  • ""
  • Works collaboratively with management and subject matter experts to assess learning/performance needs and deliver appropriate training solutions
  • ""
  • Tests and troubleshoots existing/proposed technology systems and training environments
  • ""
  • Uses critical thinking, effective communication, decision-making processes and tools to analyze situations and make effective decisions
  • ""
  • Frequently travels from location to location within the healthcare system
  • ""
  • Tests and validates lesson plans and training environment build
  • ""
  • Administers end-user proficiency assessments and in-system checklists
  • ""
  • Supports end users with at-the-elbow go-live support
  • ""
  • Administers post-live refresher, optimization, new hire, and skills-enhancement training
  • ""
  • Upgrade Testing & Support will be required for new changes made in the system. These items are to be tested and validated upon Go-Live.
  • ""
  • Due to the responsibilities of your position, you will be required to work beyond your regularly scheduled hours, on-call/ rotating weekends, nights and weekends when necessary and perform other duties when necessary

  • Travel required observing office workflows and providing go-live implementationsupport

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited four year college or university or equivalent workexperience
  • ""
  • Minimum 2-years experience Go-Live at the elbow support, testing & support desk experience
  • ""
  • You will be provisioned with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and are required to perform this role with patients and members on site, as this is an essential function of this role
  • ""
  • Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained.
