In this role, you will be the leader of a highly complex and matrixed team responsible for End to End product development for PepsiCo Global Foods Transform brands. Additionally, you will lead a global organization that has team members based in North America, LATAM and Europe. This position will partner across the R&D organization to deliver a robust consumer-centric innovation pipeline that is relevant to the local markets while also supporting transformational productivity and brand stewardship key initiatives.Accountabilities: Lead the execution of strategic product development workstreams end-to-end in close collaboration with internal and external cross-functional partners. Internal customers (Sectors), Consumer needs (customers, Marketing, customer insights), and Internal Experts (TDC, Marketing, Sustainability, GP) Develop multiple MVP (Minimal Viable Product) options to support retail labs learnings while maintaining quality, food safety, etc. Develop breakthrough and reframe formulation aligned with TSG innovation while also delivering risk mitigated business continuity and product formulation solutions for Transform brands Lead cross-functional teams on strategic projects (including technical brand stewardship initiatives), diagnosing the strategic problem, developing and communicating recommendations for implementation with an annual innovation growth target of $1B. An immediate focus on baking, grains, meal solutions (high moisture shelf-stable foods) and compression popping Leverage the Foods Culinary and Early Stage Innovation team to develop a consumer-relevant innovation pipeline Partner with the regional R&D teams to launch local product innovations that are aligned with the category Strategic prioritiesScope: Team of 3-5 direct reports and total team 20 27 members Location: Plano, Tx or Beaumont Park, UK Product categories/technologies: baking, grains, popping, thermal processing Support the innovation growth target of $1B Budget oversight: $1.5 - $2.0 million#LI-USA Qualifications/Requirements Minimum Requirements: Bachelors Degree in sciences as Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Food Science, Food engineering. 15+ years of experience in one or more than one of the following industries: food - beverages, ingredients, flavors, consumer products. Operates efficiently and effectively in a matrixed environment and demonstrates effective collaboration across multiple layers Strategic mindset with an ability to think broadly, refine questions, and develop analytical frameworks Ability to translate global strategic priorities into execution on a global and regional level with a proven record of successful innovation launches Ability to collaborate and communicate across various stakeholder groups; influence decisions and persuade groups on direction Global outlook with sensitivity and awareness of social and cultural differences.
