+ CQ Instrument Systems Specialists provide support to CQ/IQ Laboratories at the Rocky Mount site under the direction of an Instrument/Systems Supervisor.

+ The primary role is to maintain a variety of laboratory assets used for pharmaceutical product release testing.

+ Some instrumentation includes: UPLC, HPLC, ICP-MS, GC, TOC, Automatic Titrators, pH meters and analytical balances.


+ Perform and document instrument/equipment repairs.

+ Support procurement and validation activities for new laboratory assets.

+ Facilitate completion of laboratory investigations associated with indicted instruments.

+ Author supporting documentation, such as SOP's for instruments and equipment.


+ BA/BS in Chemistry or analogous applied science.

+ Minimum 3 years of cGMP Pharmaceutical Quality Laboratory background/experience.

+ Proficient or certified in use and troubleshooting of Chemical laboratory analytical instrumentation; see examples listed under "Role Summary".


+ Role will require physical work involving moderate lifting of heavy equipment, sitting, bending, standing, and walking.

+ Ability to perform mathematical calculations and analyze laboratory instrument data for troubleshooting is required.


1st Shift, can work overtime if necessary.
