Supports QI department objectives through the use of advanced knowledge of analytical, clinical expertise, evidence based practices, and quality improvement principles to support the development and deployment of intervention strategies to improve quality improvement measures and other key performance indicators. Provide clinical analysis and visualization of data and information to inform clinical teams throughout the organization.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Written data analytic report compilation to include quantitative and qualitative analysis, and graphic visualization.  Reports to include identification of opportunities for improvement for use in intervention development and quality improvement processes. Completion of data requests and performance of data validation
  • Use advanced knowledge of health care management, data, quality improvement principles, clinical acumen and judgement to assist in the improvement of quality as it relates to a multitude of health plan quality measures such as HEDIS, CAHPS, STARS, HOS, and other key performance indicators
  • Develop, implement and manage monitoring mechanisms for evaluation of effectiveness. Research, identify and trend issues for various populations to include dashboards for the provision of research data for use in intervention development and population health management
  • Provide analytic expertise to QI program documents such as annual evaluations, impact analysis, and population health assessments.
  • Communication of findings with quality improvement and organizational staff. Collaborate at all levels of the department and interdepartmentally. Participate in committees as requested by management

This position is office based at 2777 Crossroads Blvd, Grand Junction, CO 81506, with travel to local physician practices.
