Qualifications

Knowledge & Experience:
  • 10 Years of IT Experience
  • 5 Years of SQA Experience
  • 2 Years of VA Experience, would be helpful
  • Experience managing quality management system
  • Experience managing program risk/issue register
  • Experience with Jira
  • Knowledge of program risk and QA management methodologies, tools, and concepts
  • Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, QA applications and databases
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong Communication skills - verbal and written
  • Data collection, management and analysis
  • Problem analysis and problem solving using critical thinking
  • Planning and organizing

Education/Certifications/Clearance:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related scientific/technical discipline (or 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education)
  • SAFe and/or QA Certifications, as Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, would be helpful
  • Current VA PIV card, VA GFE Laptop, and VA network access, would be helpful
  • Must be able to achieve a moderate (Tier 2) VA position of trust

Responsibilities

This role will serve as part of the team supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) with the implementation, integration and sustainment of a fully integrated supply chain solution that provides the full spectrum of medical logistics. The Supply Chain delivers clinical care to Veterans by managing the logistics and flow of supplies and equipment. Supply Chain Management (SCM) ensures that the right equipment and supplies are available when needed, and the Supply Chain Management Product Line (SCM PL) encompasses the activities to procure resources, manage supplies, and deliver goods and services to providers and patients.

This team will be focused on implementing a scalable to support accelerated site deployment, while at the same time supporting integration with additional VA systems and sustainment of current integrations.

The team will have a blend of specific expertise and experience in SAFe Agile, Product Management, Development, Security and Operations (DevSecOps), engineering, and Data Migration.

The QA Manager will analyze the creation and implement a detailed plan to ensure the overall quality of all IT products, services, and systems. Resolve all project or program release problems, take corrective actions, and escalate to resolve and achieve results, as necessary. Assure the viability, functionality, and effectiveness of essential tools.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage quality assurance standards, policies, and procedures
  • Develop sampling and inspection procedures and methods/tools for recording and reporting quality data
  • Develop and manage quality and inspection systems
  • Develop schedule for internal audits and other quality assurance activities and manage activities
  • Manage adjudication of customer complaints and non-conformance issues and incorporate as lessons learned into QA processes for continuous improvement
  • Develop quality metrics and manage systems and methods to collect and report statistical quality data
  • Manage continuous improvement process and identify areas for improvement in the quality system
  • Develop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventive actions
  • Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards
  • Manage on-site audits conducted by external providers
  • Manage risk, issue, and problem management activities
  • Coordinate and lead risk review meetings and participate in risk assessments
  • Develop and implement policies that help reduce program risk
  • Work closely with the program team to identify, track, and monitor risks, issues, and problems
  • Manage regular reporting schedule for quality and risk.

Colorado Salary Minimum: $53,289.60 Colorado Salary Maximum:$113,900.80 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
