Qualifications
  • Experience with implementing organizational processes and best practices
  • Ability to perform process and product evaluations (audits) to ensure compliance with established project standards, processes, and procedures
  • Experience with scheduling, checklist development, report writing, facilitating root cause/lessons learned analysis, and internal/external presentations
  • Experience analyzing, compiling, and reporting on findings of non-compliance and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Ability to track and escalate unresolved non-compliance issues and corrective an preventative action plans to closure
  • Ability to interface with internal customers to ensure project quality work products have been provided
  • Should have hands-on experience as a project team member or real-life understanding of software development projects (i.e., requirements analysis, testing, software development, etc.)
  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent work experience)
  • Five years or experience working in a software development/testing environment
  • Good written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities
  • Overall responsibility for enforcing quality standards for the Peraton DMDC Software QA PMO and all services
  • Serves as the primary contact for Peratons Quality Control (QC) activities
  • Implements, maintains, and executes the Quality Control Plan (QCP)
  • Establishes quality processes and metrics
  • Makes sure that team members are trained on, and adhere to, quality standards
  • Performs Quality Assurance (QA)
  • Verifies quality of reports, corrective actions analyses, and tests
  • Makes sure that the team quality goals are met by monitoring metrics
  • Identifies and resolves issues and risks
  • Coordinates internal process audits
  • Prepares QC Activity Reports
  • Responsible for updating and monitoring QC process and procedures
  • Performs work product assessments and process audits
  • Reports any defects or variances in quality to the Client and Peraton leadership
  • Coordinates audits and surveillance activities
  • Identifies, documents, and tracks corrective actions, and makes certain that corrective actions are addressed by the appropriate functional area representative, and follows up until closure
  • Communicates quality-related issues and concerns to the Peraton Program Manager and other appropriate parties
  • Provides input to PWS 4.5.1 Monthly Status Review (MSR), PWS 4.5.2 Weekly In-Progress Review (IPR), and PWS 4.5.3 Annual IPR
