Primary Responsibilities:

    ""
  • Review and approve provider invoices in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner to maintain good working relationships between LHI and network providers. Investigate any discrepancies found on provider claims and communicate with the network providers to resolve the issue
  • ""
  • Review provider claims: match claims to LHI orders, verify amount billed versus contracted rates, review status of orders, understand provider fee schedules, and investigate balance forwards or aged claims
  • ""
  • Approval of provider claims: provider information and billed versus contracted rates are verified, and approved provider claims are submitted for payment
  • ""
  • Assist Provider Accounts Payable Administrative assistant with opening mail; review and transfer claims from the Provider Accounts Payable fax/email boxes to the appropriate backlog folder, assist with scanning, as needed

  • Uprising Junior or Senior working towards an Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance or an equivalent combination of education, experiences or applicable military experience will be considered
  • ""
  • Demonstrated knowledge of general accounting/accounts payable processes
  • ""
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • ""
  • Housing and relocation assistance is not available for this position
  • ""
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered
  • ""
  • You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting, however, may be required to work from home temporarily due to space limitations.
  • ""
  • Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe.
