The Portfolio and Project Enablement Department within the Service Division is responsible for planning, project, and portfolio management to facilitate decision making and execution of the division's portfolio of strategic work.
As a Project Leader, you will be responsible for execution and management of cross divisional/firm projects, defining and scoping efforts in preparation for prioritization, and the creation and maintenance of processes and tools. The role requires a high degree of strategic thinking, planning/organization, driving for the right results, communicating with impact, and championing change.

As our firm transforms to meet our future client needs Project and Portfolio Enablement will play an increasingly critical role in helping leadership solve for the problems of the future through helping them define, plan, execute work while having visibility and transparency into the health and status of the Portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:
* Lead medium to large projects simultaneously, with a medium to high degree of risk, visibility and urgency within a functional area or at times spanning multiple areas, divisions or outside vendors. Leading project coordinators and/or project team members in completion of medium to large scope projects.
* Ensuring project schedule, scope and quality objectives are met by monitoring, using metrics and controls to measure progress, taking corrective action and escalating issues when necessary. Assess trade-offs to scope and make recommendations to senior leaders.
* Schedule project tasks and facilitate meetings, communicate progress and develop solutions to meet project goals.
* Provide timely communication of relevant data to senior leadership for decision making. Establishing and maintaining effective communications and relationships across multiple areas, divisions, teams who are connected to projects.
* Develop and maintain processes and continually improve Portfolio, Project, and Resource Management for the division.
* Manage stakeholder involvement and engagement to promote understanding, reinforce communication, and increase project priority.
* Support the development of business cases and assessment of project readiness for business leaders while demonstrating thought leadership, innovative tendencies, and drive for results
* Partner with leaders and key associates to help establish framework, structure, and governance/controls that will support monitoring, controlling, and reporting project/program/portfolio status
* Manage risks and issues with appropriate escalation.

* A bachelors degree or equivalent experience is required.
* PMP or Agile certification a plus.
* 3-5 years of project management or product management experience leading division level complex projects/products is required, with the ability of creating, monitoring, and interpreting product / project performance metrics.
* Experience facilitating scope discussions and assessing project readiness.
* Possess a working knowledge of project and product management life cycles. Has the ability to utilize and decipher which method to use and when to use Agile or Waterfall Methodologies.
* Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills; effectively communicates with project team, other project leaders, multiple areas, divisions and outside vendors. Incorporates effective listening and collaboration skills.
* Strong problem solving skills know when to escalate, ability to identify alternatives, assist in analysis and resolution of issues and provide recommendations
* Experience with PPM tools such as Clarity, Jira, and/or Aha is preferred.
