**ROLE SUMMARY**



MAPP Service Center is part of the MAPP Operations CoE under Global Business Services (GBS), Financial Services (FS). Currently the MAPP Service Center is fully operated in Dalian, China and San Jose, Costa Rica to support the APAC and LATAM regions respectively. The deployment for France as the pilot market in Europe has been successfully completed before the year end 2020. Now the deployment for the rest of the Europe markets is being evaluated and implemented.



The GBS MAPP Services Center located in Thessaloniki, Greece will support all Europe MAPP transactions (My Anti-Corruption Policies and Procedures) associated to FCPA (Foreign Corrupt Practices Act) and other regional/local pharma laws and industry code if applicable.



The role is established for 1-year period to ensure successful MAPP transformation in Europe region and markets deployments by waves.



The main goal of this role is to establish a strong compliance and control culture in the new MAPP Service Center in Greece and build processes in Europe following operating model in LATAM and APAC sites.



The Project Lead will be responsible for managing the compliance activities, directing Team Leads and MAPP Analysts with direction and reporting on compliance related reporting. This role will be responsible to ensure that all transactions are managed to the highest compliance standards and there is proper training and documentation to support controls. The Project Lead role will oversee compliance checks for exceptions and work through any transaction issues or escalations. This role is responsible for communicating compliance risks, exceptions and challenges to the MAPP Service Center Lead, Corporate Compliance, Legal, Audit or BU leadership.



The role will report to the Global MAPP Process Lead based in New York, work closely with Europe MAPP Service Center Lead and Team Leads, and Process Lead in APAC/LATAM MAPP Service Center.



**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**



+ Responsible for ensuring a compliant process for all transactions coming into the Service Center

+ Detailed review/submission of a sampling of MAPP data/submissions to ensure accuracy

+ Ensure all transactions are properly documented in workflow system (sampling)

+ Ensure MAPP transactions are in compliance with MAPP policy and other HCP policies

+ Ensure team manages all transactions using accurate standard operating procedures and compliance and control documentation

+ Handling any compliance related questions or transaction escalations

+ Direct interactions with business colleagues, healthcare professionals and external organizations

+ Responsible for communicating with internal and external business professionals

+ Work with Legal and Compliance to get approvals for exceptions and suspicious documentation

+ Work with legal, compliance on MAPP standards for Europe

+ Review compliance standards for healthcare contracts for external healthcare professionals, ensuring fair market value is accurate (per FMV calculator) and the HCP has been qualified (CV review)

+ Raise compliance questions/ challenges to Corporate Compliance for direction/ controls



**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**



+ Bachelor Degree or equivalent is required

+ 5+ years of experience with compliance transactions, preferably in a shared service with strong compliance controls

+ Experience with FCPA transactions preferred

+ Management of multiple client stakeholders

+ Previous experience with pharmaceutical companies is preferred

+ Proficiency in PC skills (MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint) required

+ SAP / Ariba experience preferred

+ Good organizational skills to coordinate and manage multiple priorities

+ Proficient written and verbal skills to enable effective communication with all levels of management

+ Ability to analytically review and challenge compliance controls to ensure completeness, accuracy, adherence to related policy, law or code etc.

+ Strong technical skills in managing transactions within a global system

+ Fluency in English is a must

+ Ability to manage reporting needs for business, BU, Compliance, Audit etc.
