Responsibilities Essential Functions: Strong maintenance systems background with ownership of PM systems Capital plan execution and development Early Management Pillar leader and Kaizen system owner for TPM Root cause/countermeasure system owner for PM pillar Calibration systems and requirement management Download product formula change requests from PAs into the batching systems. Management of plant drawings and CAD files Management of the engineering copies of the machines and parts manuals Automation data base management (Shop floor, back-up files, licenses, hardware, software updates) REA projects as designated Controls and automation systems and equipment training Process, automation, and equipment engineering support on all shifts as needed Plant optimization projects Ensure your vendors / contractors are complying with plant safety, security, and GMP requirements Support for new system development, installation, engineering, and start-up Engineering support for plant TPM activities Supports capital plan development and execution Execute projects to support the plant and upgrade existing systems Schedule training for Mechanics and Operators in the operation and maintenance of new equipment and systems Control and training for technical support equipment Process and equipment engineering support on all shifts as needed Ensure your vendors / contractors are complying with plant safety, security, and GMP requirements Support role for new system development, installation, engineering, and start-up Provide engineering support to team for equipment engineering changes and upgrades Provide engineering support for the process and packaging changes Provide onsite IT support Safety Responsibilities Support accident investigation as needed BOS inspections Management of capital safety projects from the plan Conduct automation safety training as required for the maintenance team Confined Space Certification for management of entries required for projects Support engineering of machine safety systems Quality Assurance Responsibilities Monthly set point audit Understand QA manual and the process requirements that must be met Engineering technical support for process and packaging development and optimization Liaison point of contact for annual corporate thermal quality assessment audits Support new material and product testing RED Tag management for projects and improvements Engineering support for process and packaging development and optimization Cost Responsibilities Management for REA/CEA project costs Support assistance for controlling on-going repair costs Period on-going repair cost management for the following accounts on the production line as designated. (430, 432, 420, 421, 422, 738) Leads and supports loss reduction/yield opportunities CMP target goal and project / loss reduction support Management for CEA and REA costs Qualifications Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required. Preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or similar field. Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing preferred. Preferably food/beverage experience. Lean Six Sigma Experience preferred, demonstrated by successful completion of a major improvement project. You should possess strong skills, knowledge and capability in TPM or lean manufacturing, finance and accounting, project management, leadership, and statistics/logical problem solving. Proven working knowledge of the following business enterprises: HSE/quality regulatory compliance, processing/packaging/warehouse operations, maintenance and engineering, ingredient and package material procurement, production planning & deployment, sales and marketing, research and development, and excellent communication, facilitation and influence skills.
