Responsibilities

Summary:
Position is in support of the Project Lead (PL) Network Enablers (Net E) Army Production and Post Deployment System Support (PPDSS) program. The program provides system engineering, software development, software maintenance, software upgrades procurement, technology insertion, testing, integration, training, and helpdesk support for PL Network Enablers (Net E) legacy and new software components comprised of the following PL Net E and PdL Communications Security (COMSEC) areas including Key Management Infrastructure (KMI), Automated Communications Engineering Software (ACES), and Simple Key Loader (SKL) devices.

Responsibilities:
Assumes the responsibility for the scheduling of technical projects. Involved in one project or numerous projects. Responsibilities include a wide range of duties involving initial job planning, scheduling of time, scheduling of materials, coordination of subcontractors, monitoring of job progress, analysis of changes, and problem solving. Develops plans including budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for several major portions of a program. Establishes and defines program plan requirements and directs or performs in-depth studies to determine optimum program plans. Coordinates interdepartmental development of program plans. Interfaces with vendors and customers and performs extensive investigations as required. Produces the contractor's Initial Schedule and then updates the schedule throughout the program. Uses the schedule to analyze the impact of change orders, delays, and any other schedule disruptions. Works very closely with the project manager and the subcontractors during the preparations and updating of the schedule. Produces critical scheduling information for the project team's use. Monitors performance reports against plans to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met; arranges modifications as required. Experienced managing government property using DoD compliant application. Experienced with frequent use and application of technical standards, principles and theories. Works under general supervision, providing solutions to technical problems of moderate scope/complexity.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 2 years of experience, or a Master's with 0 years of experience.
2. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
3. Active Secret clearance.
4. Experienced in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook).
5. Government Property Management experience.
