GENERAL SUMMARY

As a Program Manager, you will provide leadership for the silicon development project and guide a multi-disciplinary team through the entire product life-cycle.

Preferred qualifications

  • MS or PhD degree in Engineering
  • 4 years of experience with silicon development.
  • 2 years of experience in a project management (or equivalent) role for hardware development in acrossfunctionalcontext.
  • Technical judgement to drive engineering decisions resulting in significant, positive business impact.
  • Experience as an engineer in chip development and integration into hardware or software systems
  • Experience with silicon development methodologies, leading tapeouts and silicon validation
  • Familiar with both analog circuit design as well as digital design development process and flows.
  • Ability to drive teams towards longterm challenging goals and intermediate milestones
  • Track record of successful planning and execution within resource and schedule constraints
  • Knowledgeable on program management tools and processes to increase productivity across engineering teams

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Plan, drive and deliver silicon products
  • Lead the creation and maintaining of credible and data-driven schedules and milestones
  • Engage in technical and schedule tradeoff discussions
  • Develop processes to increase the productivity and efficiency of the team
  • Manage teams through design, development, test, manufacturing, deployment and sustaining activities for hardware products
  • Be an advocate for the program in crossfunctional and stakeholder meetings

Physical Requirements

Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to mile.

Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs.

Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting).

Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.

Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.

Education:

Bachelors - Computer Science, Bachelors - Engineering

Work Experiences:

1+ years working with operating budgets and/or project financials, 2+ years Program Management or related work experience.
