The Program Manager is responsible for planning and implementing program initiatives selected for participation by WellMed including, but not limited to, compensation, pilot projects, research projects, community partnerships and publication endeavors. The Manager will develop project deliverables; budgets and timelines related to program activities and provide guidance for assigned projects/studies. The Manager collaborates with stakeholders related to program initiatives including teams, committees, consultants, corporate departments, operational staff and/or senior leadership.

  • Fosters open communication by interacting directly with stakeholders and acts as a resource to internal and external customers to ensure successful program operations

  • Monitors processes to ensure projects/programs are successful, including maintaining continuous quality improvement activities to ensure outcomes achieve goals.

  • Ensures the timely preparation of reports and records for dissemination to stakeholders

  • Attends required meetings; contributes and participates in committees as requested

  • Participates and assists in professional development training activities and education programs to keep staff abreast of health care trends and practices

Required Qualifications:

    ""
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • ""
  • 3+ years of progressive healthcare experience to include experience in a managed care setting, hospital setting, and/or physician practice setting
  • ""
  • 2+ years of data mining, analytical and reporting skills required. Must be able to review and interpret data to make recommendations to senior-management
  • ""
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications
  • ""
