We are seeking a Program Manager to join the Business Operations team to support the People Engine team. In this role, you€™ll combine expert project management skills while supporting the day-to-day operations for People Engine. You€™ll help projects meet deadlines, define milestones/success, and assess risks. As a Program Manager, you will also manage project-related communications to team members, executives and other stakeholders while providing program management leadership by streamlining processes.

The Amazon People Engine team owns products which support HR business initiatives to continuously improve the user experience of Amazonians throughout the world. In this position, you will collaborate with product managers, UX, developers, and analysts to build complex integrated solutions to meet the needs of our global workforce.

Main Responsibilities:
· Building processes and executing operational changes.
· Support projects from initial development to implementation that will streamline systems processes and drive operational improvements.
· Improve key system inputs to achieve automated execution by identifying areas of opportunities, building process, maturing it and providing it self-service to customer-facing teams.
· Contribute to maintaining Operation Dashboards to address pre-defined as well as ad-hoc business questions.
· Define creative, high quality, simple roadmaps based on team strategy and vision.
· Analyzing the needs of multiple stakeholders/users to improve projects and clearly documenting requirements.
· Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team€™s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals
· Tracking and reporting on the status of a portfolio of projects.


· 3+ years experience in program or project management
· Bachelor's Degree
· Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
· 3+ years experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams


Excellent customer experience intuition; demonstrated success in creating innovative and user-friendly Programs.
· Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems independently with an extreme attention to detail
· Strong strategic aptitude; proven ability to define the right business strategy and develop the Program roadmap to deliver it
· Demonstrated ability to successfully influence stakeholders without formal authority, leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units
· Technical fluency; comfort understanding and discussing technology concepts, experience evaluating tradeoffs and new opportunities with technical team members
