What Youll Do

As a seasoned Program Manager you will be a key member of the UC-One/Webex SMB Product Management team. You will accelerate product launches and UC-One SaaS/Webex SMB adoption by driving strategic, cross-company launch initiatives within Ciscos service provider partner channel.

You will leverage a deep understanding of our service provider partners, their reseller operations and their end customer UC product priorities to encourage high-value success motions and adoption programs tailored to each service providers goals. You will proactively engage with the service provider across their operations, onboarding, marketing, sales and support teams to give visibility to product rollout progress, identify threats to success, and leverage Cisco digital tools, content and internal resources needed to fill the gaps and accelerate partner business value.

Your ability to creatively partner within Cisco cross-functionally will be key as you recruit and manage the Cisco team members needed to support partner programs. You will manage multiple customers and programs simultaneously and thrive in ambiguity. You will also be on the lookout for opportunities to improve partner results, regularly report said results, and ensure support and alignment for goal achievement across the extended product team.

Who Youll Work With

You will reach out, build and leverage deep relationships with the Cisco/BroadSoft global and regional account management and SE teams in order to gain insight to and the confidence of the product, operations, marketing and sales leadership of our partners. These relationships are critical to achieving Cisco and partner goals. You will:

  • Align with service provider overlay sales and SE organizations to identify and prioritize investment in key channel-partner launch programs
  • Effectively segment and prioritize the partner pipeline according to product business priorities and Cisco strategy
  • Identify and communicate partner enablement requirements to Cisco product management and product marketing
  • Collaborate with product marketing, digital acceleration and go-to-market teams to leverage end-user facing digital products and campaign content
  • Engage 1:1 with priority accounts for Success Planning Programs
  • Coordinate 1-to-many product training and launch events such as webinars, videos and Success Planning Summits, working with partner sales, marketing, product management, and operations etc.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative analysis to drive operational excellence in partner engagement and end customer adoption
  • Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly metric reports including visibility available for integrated results across various partner routes to market

  • Prior success with leveraging quantitative customer metrics to tailor actions and drive next steps to ensure partner adoption and contract renewal
  • Strong empathy for customers and a passion for revenue and growth
  • Enjoy face-to-face customer meetings with travel occasionally up to 25%

Required Experience

  • 5+ years experience in leading matrixed customer-facing teams.
  • 2+ years of experience with subscription-based and/or licensed software offers
  • Proven ability to influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building
  • Reseller and channel partner management experience is preferred
  • Proficiency in digital marketing and digital customer engagement desired
  • Demonstrated investment in continuous learning and skills improvement
  • Excellent executive level communication and presentation skills
  • Bachelors degree required, Masters degree or PMP a plus
