What Youll Do

This role is core to the Avengers program vision and strategy of executing the alignment of recurring revenue metrics and definitions for Service and Software to achieve transforming Cisco to a recurring revenue-focused company, complete with recurring revenue metrics. Avengers Transformation Management Office (TMO) seeks to support 4 workstreams within the Avenger programs to predictably deliver on the committed portfolio and business case value to partners. Through this important role, you will own critical performance execution indicators. Your thoughtful reporting and analytics will demonstrate value realization from our investments and delight our stakeholders, team members, and partners. Additionally, you will consistently supervise resources aligned to the work they perform.

You will build direct relationships and partnerships with workstream leads, x-functional leads, architects and partners, cross organizations, and use other parts of Cisco to improve renewals results for the program.

  • Construct and maintain the Avengers portfolio critical metrics and value realization reporting source of truth
  • Handle Avengers Taxonomy and Hierarchy in reporting and tooling
  • Avenger program data governance: ensuring data accuracy and completeness by establishing processes, mentorship, and governance to accurately collect data inputs: resource capacity data, Team Member role accuracy, creation and management of hierarchy, workflows, custom fields, user management, dashboards and report configurations and advanced filters.
  • Anticipate and aggressively remove obstacles that slow down or prevent from delivering objectives.
  • Partner engagement to ensure alignment & adoption of portfolio management ops processes.
  • Adopt, mentor, and evangelize Avengers Operating model values and principles in the team and across the organization.
  • Define and generate Avengers portfolio metrics to improve the visibility and clarity of our work & efficiency.

Success in the role requires you to navigate system interfaces, processes, and people - building strong partner relationships, and portfolio intimacy. Job #1 is ensuring the Avengers monthly business outcomes and critical metrics are on target, providing corrective actions to get back on track and analysis to make data-driven decisions.

Your tech-savvy strengths and eye for business with a strong business operations background across multiple business subject areas such as Commerce Process (Quote to Cash- Opportunity, Revenue, Contract Management, Sales Compensation, and Deal Management processes). Have played a lead role in prior efforts driving transformation for Ciscos Software and Recurring Revenue business. Worked on Commercial Process transformation, Commercial Integration, Improving the New Biz Model scale.

Who You Are

  • 5- 7 years performing various operational roles within agile organizations, preferably at the enterprise level; with at 1-2 years in lean-agile TMO, operations, or similar capacity. 
  • Experience with complex financial reconciliation models required 
  • Experience working in Transformation /business development organizations, with a solid understanding of organizational agility, customer value.
  • Youre an operational and reporting wizard, with a solid understanding of what data matters, how to glean insights and drive recommendations and reporting for an executive audience.
  • Background craft various business models distinguish Offer enablement vs capability enablement analysis, ability to interpret, write, and roll out policies.
  • Be high energy, highly motivated, and a go-getter
  • Solid ability to lead through influence in highly matrixed organizations.
  • Executive presence & credibility
  • Validated understanding of lean methods and design thinking, with the consistent ability to stay on top of industry trends, emerging practices, and technologies.
  • Business analyst background preferred
