Position: Program Leader Firm Planning

Responsibilities:

* Lead multiple program and/or product leaders to achieve program objectives and develop program measures to ensure needed benefits are realized: help teams identify and remove roadblocks. Leading Project Leaders and other project team members in completion of projects/programs ranges.
* Ensure program schedule, scope and quality objectives are met by monitoring, using metrics and controls to measure progress, taking preventative and corrective action and escalating issues and risks when necessary. Assess trade-offs to scope using cost / benefit analysis and make recommendations to senior leaders. Create a strategy, roadmap and plan for a team to execute against and collaborate with Product teams as needed.
* Integrate multiple project plans and product roadmaps using project and product management tools to create an integrated program plan with identifiable critical path(s), project dependencies, risks, issues, constraints and major milestones. Develop processes for PPM and Product Management Lifecycles.
* Provide timely communication of relevant data to senior leadership for decision making. Establish and maintain effective communications and relationships across multiple areas, divisions, outside vendors and project leaders/teams who are working on sub-projects within a program. Effectively execute stakeholder management and communication throughout the life of a program with an entrepreneurial mindset and approach.
* Partner with senior leaders to develop and execute on transformational programs that support the firm's core strategies and deliver tangible and sustainable results. Leverage business, technical, and financial acumen to ensure alignment with firm objectives, strategy and technical direction with all business areas involved.
* Utilize the development of complex business cases and partner with business leaders to define program benefits that turn client and market insights into action.
* Provide leadership, development, and mentoring to associates holding them accountable through documented examples and timely feedback.
* Lead Vendor selection in programs and manage vendor relationship throughout the life of the project/contract. Help sourcing with the strategy and approach with the vendor. Vendor management -- holding the vendor accountable to the contract. Coordinate with Sourcing on issues with vendor deliverables and timing for scope completion and escalating issues to senior leaders etc.
* Ensuring all defects are logged properly and communicated to the project team responsible for fixing the defects.
* Function as an internal consultant and coach with an enterprise system thinking approach and mentoring team members in the PMO network firm wide.


Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree is required or equivalent experience. MBA or graduate degree preferred.
* 10 years of project management or product management experience leading division and/or enterprise level complex projects/products is required, with the ability of creating, monitoring, and interpreting program / project performance metrics through the entire development lifecycles.
* Project management and/or Agile certification/s (PMP, SAFe and/or Company Specific Certifications)
* Appropriate licenses as required by the business area (Series 7 and 99, etc.).
* Possess a working knowledge of project and product management life cycles. Has the ability to utilize and decipher which method to use and when to use Agile or Waterfall Methodologies.
* 10+ years of industry or position-related experience. Previous leadership experience preferred.
* Proven presentation, interpersonal and communication skills; effectively communicates with project team, other project leaders, multiple areas, divisions and outside vendors. Incorporates effective listening and collaboration skills.
* Experience with creating, monitoring, and interpreting program / project performance metrics through the entire project lifecycle.
* Proven problem solving skills know when to escalate, ability to identify alternatives, assist in analysis and resolution of issues and provide recommendations.
* Prior strategic program management experience at the enterprise level, programs exceeding $20MM in budget.
* Experience with PPM tools such as Clarity, Jira, and/or Aha is required.
* 3+ years of people leadership experience.
