Job Description

Location: Anywhere in the United States - preferably the Northeast

The Production Planning & Execution Manager will be accountable for assisting the Manufacturing Lead in defining the PBNA ERP S/4 model for the Make To Deploy (MTD) Process Area. The chosen candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing applications, systems, processes, reporting and analytics and support the delivery of S/4 HANA solution across Bottling US and PBC Canada. This role will partner extensively across the organization with the larger PBNA ERP project team, baseline business leaders, IT organization, Global Template Team and with the various external partners on the project (IBM, PwC and SAP).
The foundation of this role will be based on the understanding of Legacy processes, the ability to assess them and in turn provide future state solutions while working with our project team across multiple value streams to apply S/4 HANA functionality required to meet business objectives.

The position will require the utilization & incorporation of past experiences to help define systems, business process and organizational impact in areas listed below but not limited to:

  • Production Planning
  • Production Execution
  • Provide expert knowledge and experience to project activities within the manufacturing area
  • Strong analytical, project management, process orientation, influencing & collaborative skills
  • Be a results-oriented change agent who can understand different scenarios and help facilitate big-picture and tactical execution throughout the project
  • Execute agile sprints to introduce and actively participate in the demo for harmonized processes, taking the outputs through to resolution
  • Produce project deliverables and ensure overall quality includes Design/Build, Configure/Test, & Deployment
  • Reach out to external consultants (Subject Matter Experts) and baseline team members for advice, guidance and assistance
  • Support business readiness reviews
  • Lead super user activity including UAT (user acceptance testing)
  • Support adoption and change management, as well as develop and deliver end-user training
  • Responsible for successfully and sustainably implementing the new harmonized equipment. process, data, analytics and controls within the process area
  • Provide post-go-live support
  • Develop and deliver end-user training
  • Identify issues, propose solutions and develop action plans
  • Identify and resolve issues with Process Lead
  • Escalate appropriate decision-making requirements to PBNA ERP Project Leadership


  • Bachelors Degree with a preference for Engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 8 - 10 years in bottling operations in an operating and/or planning support capacity
  • Solid understanding of Legacy Applications utilized in Production Planning and Production Execution
  • Highly acquainted with the production floor personnel job tasks, methods and dynamics
  • Strong functional knowledge & experience with current equipment, systems, business process & organization
  • Willing to challenge group thinking and ask difficult questions; Able to challenge requirements and business processes to ensure best practice
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and work through others; open to new ways of working, adopting industry standards and best practices

  • Previous SAP experience is a plus but not required
  • Percent Travel 50% required (in future)
