Overview

LogMeIn is looking for a highly motivated Product Owner to drive the definition and development of our collaboration SaaS products, specifically focused on growing Real Time Communication (RTC) solutions within the GoTo Suite. The GoTo-Suite makes working remotely easy and secure, with a great many services and solutions for Small- to Enterprise-sized businesses.

The right candidate has a track record of working closely and successfully with development teams and ensuring a steady stream of impactful customer-facing releases. As Product Owner, you will be accountable for balancing maintenance and technical improvements of our products with the needs of our customers.

Your teams will rely on you to align product goals and business needs with a clearly defined day-to-day and transparent priorities. As such, you will need to work closely with Product Management, Engineering Managers, Quality Assurance, User Experience and of course the Engineers. Your work will ensure the success of our products and enable other teams such as Marketing, Sales and Customer Care to succeed at their jobs.

You will document project objectives, write technical specifications and iterate on solutions to meet the expectations of the business and our customers. You will be expected to help evolve strategies to gain a deep understanding of current and future customer needs to effectively guide your teams decisions and efforts.

Your role:

Along with the Product Management team, holds the vision for the product and communicates the vision across development, sales, customer success, and marketing teams

Collaborates with external and internal stakeholders to understand the requirements and prioritize the Product Backlog to provide the most value for our users

Understands technology trends to apply to software design

Assists with internal communication, improving transparency across the organization

Participates in project planning, reviews, sprint and release planning, demos

Responsible for the creation of user stories and acceptance criteria

Owns and maintains the product backlog and the release plans

Monitors team velocity and seeks to continuously improve product development process

Actively inspects usage and other metrics to make data driven decisions to influence direction and roadmap. Must be able to work in an agile environment

Manages cross-product dependencies

Your experience:

At least 2+ years of experience in product owner roles

SaaS software development experience or similar

Good understanding of current web technologies (TypeScript, React, )

You operate data-driven and are able to analyze complex issues, while also capable of visualizing and communicating your insights with the larger organization

Experience working in complex technical organization across global offices/locations in an Agile environment is a plus

Fluency in English is required

Ability to manage multiple work streams concurrently and deliver on-time
