The Optum at Home (OAH) product manager is responsible for supporting the product performance and product development functions through end to end oversight of the teams delivering value driven opportunity analysis, managerial support, and result level communications. They will be working primarily with the OAH Administrative leader but will also closely support OAH product development and product operations teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

    ""
  • Enable the product and clinical teams to do their jobs more efficiently by identifying, implementing, and managing inefficient and non-existent administrative processes
  • ""
  • Maintains key business and clinical dashboards for the Optum at Home business. This includes continually identifying key metrics to track, determining the appropriate measurement definition and cadence, summarizing conclusions to leadership, and ensuring communications are produced on a timely basis
  • ""
  • Manage the OAH internal product reporting rationalization project which maintains the reports inventory, keeps the communication portal up to date, manages the internal governance of new report requests, and provides a glide path for manual reports to be transitioned to be automated whenever possible
  • ""
  • Manage the Quality assurance payment integrity process working with business leaders and IT staff to develop an internal control procedures for key data elements and data systems
  • ""
  • Work across product and stars team to revise and update key glide path closures as new monthly activity becomes available
  • ""
  • Maintain and govern the membership and provider segmentation process ensuring the business defines their ask most efficiently, working with IT or the BA team to identify the appropriate source of truth, and help produce and organize user friendly output. This role will also be responsible in assisting the development and on-going maintenance of the long term tool analytic development

  • Administer the monthly business, market, and client level communication which includes working with product team to set agenda, accumulate functional slides and assists with managing meetings
  • ""
  • Adhoc program data management such as State regulatory reporting, Prospero membership refresh file etc.

  • Working in partnership with other UHC stakeholders to ensure success of key initiatives

Required Qualifications:

    ""
  • Bachelors Degree
  • ""
  • Experience in managing and driving projects to completion
  • ""
  • 3+ years of working experience within healthcare operations, risk-bearing products, and/or clinical services
  • ""
  • Ability to develop user friendly reports utilizing and manipulating large amounts of data
  • ""
  • Experience working within a cross-functional capacity and navigating a matrix organization
  • ""
  • Advanced skills with PC based software programs and systems required (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • ""

  • MBA, MHA, or MPH

  • Sound leadership presence, with ability to manage prioritization of programs, effectively communicate strategy to attain goals, and challenge thinking

  • Understanding of UHC operations, clinical services, network, products and benefits
  • ""
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills capable of effectively presenting ideas and tactics at executive and non-executive levels, in internal and external settings
  • ""
  • Sound analytical, financial, project management and problem-solving skills; ability to quickly aggregate and analyze information and draw conclusions

  • Financial/Reporting within a healthcare environment
  • ""
  • Excellent communication, time/project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills
