What You'll Do

Are you passionate about helping Ciscos sellers succeed? Can you tell a story and translate technical concepts into easy-to-understand messages? And finally can you get things done?

We are looking for a motivated, creative, go-getting kind of product marketer to join our seller content team and help to deliver sales content in the best way to our sales team, run some of our communication and enablement programs and build excellent content around our Enterprise Networks and Cloud portfolios. Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with and develop lasting relationships with key internal stakeholders (internal sellers, global partner sellers, regional and local marketing, solutions marketing, product management, and technical experts) to understand the market landscape and build targeted content.
  • Confidently present marketing strategy and relay product and solution value to executive and seller audiences
  • Develop enablement strategy based on business and sales priorities and help team successfully execute on the plan.
  • Create content to support new product and feature launches
  • Measure and report on the success of your programs and content, making recommendations on future improvements
  • Have a good understanding of the seller audience, the role of the partner, seller challenges, and seller drivers. (Sales experience is an advantage),
  • Drive launch activities for our internal seller audiences which include: launch plans, seller messaging, communication and awareness strategy, sales enablement content creation, global and regional launch events for sellers, metrics, and engagement tracking.

Who Youll Work With

The role operates within the global Customer Solutions Marketing organization, and the Enterprise Networks and Cloud product marketing team focused on Ciscos Enterprise networks, hybrid cloud, and data center portfolios, which represents Ciscos core business. Youll be working with some of the smartest sales and marketing folks to show how the network and the cloud are driving the future of Digital Business.

This team delivers clear, simple, and enticing messages and content targeted at Ciscos internal and partner sellers while coordinating marketing efforts across the globe by partnering with Ciscos regional and extended marketing teams, the Global Sales organization, the Global Partner Organization, the business units, and other stakeholders.

Who You Are

You will support the transformation of how Cisco talks about its Enterprise Networks and Cloud software and hardware solutions by perfecting our content delivery platforms and crafting engaging seller content to communicate Ciscos story and drive awareness, excitement, enablement, and demand. Minimum qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ year's experience preferred.
  • Appetite to learn and solve problems
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Ability and desire to plan and manage programs
  • Have the mentality of a leader and innovator.
  • Self-motivated and has the ability to empower and influence others.
  • Ability to collaborate, lead and work in a fast-paced matrixed organization.
  • Highly creative and resourceful person, able to work in ambiguity and with little oversight at times
  • Ability to work independently and comfortable collaborating with global/regional/local colleagues as part of a physical or virtual team.
