What we do:

In Cisco Cloud Security, we are now expanding on our success in DNS Security and Secure Web Gateway, building new products to transform the future of remote work. We are extending the power of our cloud platform to give remote workers a true in office experience from anywhere. 

What youll do:

Youll join our remote access team as a Product Manager, with a primary focus on cloud connectivity and networking. Youll translate customer needs into well-defined, prioritized requirements, and partner with engineering to build out the needed functionality. By doing so, youll provide our users a global, scalable remote access service that makes working from anywhere a fantastic and secure experience. 

Core responsibilities:

• Understand customer needs for cloud connectivity, including scale, geographic distribution, and security 
• Define and prioritize network platform requirements including remote worker and application connectivity, reliability, and geographic expansion 
• Partner with our outstanding engineering team to deliver required functionality 
• Partner with User Experience to define a simple IT administrator experience to seamlessly deploy, configure, and scale a deployment 
• Evangelize the product strategy internally (e.g., with sales, engineering, other product organizations) and externally (e.g., with customers and partners) 

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a strong passion for secure cloud networking, with a solid understanding of core concepts including e.g., routing, scalability, resilience, and management 
• Relentlessly focus on user experience to ensure our customers are delighted by the simplicity of our products 
• Be a great communicator who can break down technical concepts into plain terms (written and verbal) that are well understood by all audiences 
• Have a solid Product Management toolkit, able to define clear and compelling user 
• Keep a keen eye on industry and competition and use your competitive knowledge to ensure your requirements continue to be market-leading 
• Be comfortable with working in an agile software development environment 

Educational / Professional Background:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, or another engineering/technical degree 
• 3-7 years of Product Management experience in an agile environment 
• Domain expertise in cloud networking
