The Banking Products department is responsible for delivering high-quality saving, spending and borrowing solutions, tools and experiences that reflect client needs and are aligned with the firm's advice and guidance. The Product Manager- Banking Experience will focus on creating the ideal branch experience for banking offerings, services and tools.

From setting the experience strategy to designing product features and working with our communications teams, your work will impact potentially all 18,000+ branch teams and 7 million+ clients. Responsibility Summary:
* Collaborate with the team to develop and execute the firm's product strategy for spending, saving and borrowing offerings, ensuring branch teams have quality products and support needed to help clients achieve their financial goals.
* Participate in the design and development of products, tools and experiences that align with firm advice and guidance, that are simple/easy to use and that are market parity or better with industry available options. Gather data and insights and conduct analysis of advanced complexity that inform product strategy and development. Develop and advocate for an informed perspective for what the Edward Jones product experience should be and how to get there.
* Responsible for working with internal and external partners to plan, design and deliver banking experience products, tools and services:
* manage and maintain services offered to Edward Jones clients, including influencing recommendations to add / remove / change products or product partners as needed.
* help shape and execute product business plans that align with firm strategic direction; business plans will include estimated financial outcomes and product innovation plans
* ensure that product literature and support is effective (quantity and quality), aligned with key firm messages and compliant; work in partnership with third-party partners, Marketing and other internal stakeholders to develop and deliver marketing collateral to branch teams
* work with internal and external stakeholders to integrate offerings with existing branch and client systems to create an enjoyable experience for both branch teams and clients
* resolve moderately complex / broad product partner issues as escalated
* regularly interface with product partner peer contacts (E.g. relationship managers, product analysts, divisional sales managers, and operational managers)

* Serve as a subject matter expert for Cash and Lending products for the firm. Includes broad and some advanced knowledge of products features, benefits, pricing, etc. and their relative positioning in the marketplace.
* Develop understanding of rules and potential changes in the tax, legal and regulatory environment
* Leads certain additional responsibilities specific to the team or area (E.g. recruiting, training, product partner coordination, wholesaler effectiveness)
* Participate in broad division, firm or industry initiatives and events as needed to represent the product line in alignment with firm strategy (E.g., cross-divisional projects, internal committees, product partner events, regional events, industry groups, etc.)

Education/Certification:
* Bachelor's degree required
* Generally, 7+ years of relevant financial services experience
* Ideal candidate will have experience in product development and management, marketing, or finance
* Series 7, 66 required within 12 months of hire.
Desired experience:
* Working with agile development teams and/or digital product teams desired.
* Creating a cohesive experience when integrating multiple best of breed and/or strategic partners
* Strategy and design of digital banking experiences
Functional Knowledge:
* Broad and some advanced knowledge of spending, saving and borrowing options for consumers
* Strong technical aptitude and analytical skills
* Highly collaborative
* Solid written, verbal and presentation skills
* Intermediate proficiency with systems and tools such as MS Office, Tableau and databases
