Product Incubation Go to Market Manager

Who You Are

A Product Incubation Go to Market Manager you are responsible for the smooth and effective conceptualization, development, requirements, policies and successful release delivery to market, as well as managing, maintaining, and measuring the on-going running of the program/product and with a focus on great delivery. To do this, the incubation manager should have great skills in effective product development, research, organizational agility, product setup, requirements gathering and documenting, planning, tracking and reporting, risk and issue analysis, and quality assurance. With this in mind, an understanding of the principles of new product creation and go-to-market experience along with the appropriate methodologies and processes.

What youll do:

  • Research, create, co-design the go-to-market strategy of a new offering/product
  • Determine the best go-to-market approach given how Cisco sells product
  • Work cross-functionally to learn about facets of our business and determine the best go-to-market approach
  • Determine technical platform direction recommendations
  • Build out policies and requirements while working with legal and other teams to vet viability
  • Manage and lead product/program to deliver customer business outcomes for complex, transactional and multi-component programs
  • Drive, gather, and document all requirements to define the product/program
  • Use data and research to build business case(s)
  • Build process flows and work with teams to develop diagrams to outline the effective delivery of the product
  • Build agendas, facilitate meetings, list actions and follow-up with key team members to drive the delivery of their actions
  • Determine key data points and data analysis needed to support the product/program
  • Determine KPIs and key metrics to measure success of the program/product
  • Work with research teams to understand the industry and customer expectations
  • Develop presentations to communicate clearly status and details to key stakeholders and upper management
  • Provide exceptional leadership to program team to deliver programs on time, within budget, and with high quality while achieving excellent customer satisfaction
  • Perform overall program-level planning and lead program execution of interdependent programs
  • Drive effective and accurate status reporting
  • Help drive vision, strategy and business objective alignment to lead end-to-end program implementation
  • Responsible for tracking success metrics, managing program financials and profitability (if applicable)
  • Identify opportunities for additional business cases and cross collaboration
  • Identify risks and issues, develop risk mitigation strategies, and define an escalation process
  • Identify critical stakeholders and required engagement model
  • Manage effective decision-making with leadership/sponsors
  • Establish and facilitate the interlock and operating model for program execution
  • Align team members and stakeholders to the core vision and values for the program/project, ensuring everyone works together as an effective and cohesive unit.
  • Monitor overall roadmap, identify and report potential obstacles such as scope creep, resource and personnel shortfalls, and problems with schedule, release delays, and budget overruns.

We are seeking high-energy and qualified candidates who possess the following skills and experience: 

  • Required to have experience in product go-to-market strategies with customer facing SaaS products
  • Required experience building business cases using data to support the case
  • Experience with product/program management models including Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum
  • Experience with requirements gathering and documentation
  • Experience in determining, research, data requirements and data analysis needed to support the program
  • 5-10 years of experience in digital development and program management are required
  • Required to have excellent organizational agility and ability to work well cross functionally
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic and changing environment.
  • Knowledge of direct and channel sales
  • Required experience of SaaS products and how they are sold to customers
  • Excellent planning, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and communication skills
