This is an opportunity to join the Canadian Fee Based team and contribute to the development and ongoing support of Edward Jones fastest growing programs. This has responsibility for our existing fee based and managed programs (Guided Portfolios and the Edward Jones Portfolio Program) as well as the development of new program offerings that meet the needs of our clients. Delivering on both of these successfully requires engagement in candid and collaborative environment as well as maintaining expertise on our products, the technology and processes that support them and the competitive environment.

As a Product Analyst, you will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise on our fee-based programs to Branch Teams, Service, CSG and other stakeholders. You will be responsible for leading small to medium sized enhancements and be relied upon to play a support role on larger firm projects in partnership with a senior associate. Your role will also include supporting the change management and training for new projects/enhancements and supporting the recurring work of Investment Advisory to ensure a smooth end-to-end experience from the client and branch perspective.

Responsibilities include:
* Supporting department with intermediate level expertise across the 7 Dimensions of Product Management, which include: product expertise, competitive/industry knowledge, supply/demand, regulatory and risk management, innovation, product partner relationship management, and systems, tools and processes.
* Leading and developing small to medium sized product enhancements and support new product development, projects and change management initiatives
* Developing routine and proactive activities/strategies for the department in support of department business plan
* Providing routine product partner relationship management to ensure there is alignment with firm objectives, guidance and philosophy
* Providing subject matter expertise or is a subject matter expert in at least one product line or discipline


* Bachelor's degree preferred
* Canadian Securities Course required or to be obtained within 6 months of hire
* Working towards required industry specific/department designations or certificates
* Has firm or financial industry experience (minimum 3 years in respective product or industry experience)
* Possess personal initiative and interpersonal skills.
* Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Must be able to create and deliver professional presentations internally and externally, and must be able to answer routine questions on the spot
* Must possess product/technical knowledge and understanding of current tax, regulatory or other pertinent changes that affect the product line or discipline
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
