The role includes identifying improvement opportunities, developing solutions, driving the delivery of the required changes across the organisation and monitoring the changes to ensure they deliver the desired step change in supply chain performance. **A Day in the Life**

+ Supports supply chain and logistics functions such as customer care, material procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection and distribution through the provision of insights and analytics.

+ Creates integrated processes among internal functions (e.g., operations, customer care, purchasing and logistics) and 3rd Party Logistics partners.

+ Applies deep learning technologies to give Supply Chain employees the tools capability to visualize, learn and respond to complex situations activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials.

+ Develops and communicates descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive insights/algorithms to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutions.

+ In improvement projects, uses machine language and statistical modelling techniques such as decision trees, logistic regression and others to develop and evaluate algorithms to improve product/system performance, quality, data management and accuracy.

+ Demonstrated business analysis and improvement experience, with including the identification of business process objectives, and the implementation of improvements

+ Experience in developing business cases, and translating business needs into functional and non-functional requirements

+ Providing feasibility analysis for Robotic Automation projects including automation consulting, re-engineering and assessment for RPA readiness and implementation

**Must Have**

+ Experience working in a Logistics, Customer Service, Supply Chain or Operations environment.

+ Understanding of change management methodologies.

+ Numeracy: ability to apply statistical methods and techniques to solve complex business problems

+ Expert in data preparation and manipulation

+ Highly proficient across many standard and cutting-edge Statistical/Predictive/Machine Learning/Supervised and Unsupervised techniques

+ An Advanced user of data visualization techniques to tell the story of data. Tools including (but not limited to) MS Excel, Power BI, MS PowerPoint Tableau

+ Ability to communicate well and discuss complex topics with both technical and business audiences

+ Proven ability to manage projects end-to-end with moderate support

+ Tertiary qualifications in Data Science, Business Management, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or Actuarial Studies
