As a Principal Solution Architect in the Chief Compliance Offices (CCO) Compliance Technology Solutions (CTS) team, you will have the opportunity to showcase your technical and interpersonal skills by taking an idea from concept to reality in a short amount of time. Your contributions will help the overall organization transform to becoming more technical and data oriented. The user stories worked on could have impact on not only CCO but the entire corporation. This means that you will make technical decisions, continuously learn how to best use and implement new technology, collaborate with team members, interact with upper management, connect with cross-functional stakeholders, and at times write code.

**Meet the Job**

Overall Purpose: Architecting the technological and data transformation of the Chief Compliance Organization. Develop innovative technical solutions that impact the enterprise. This career step requires excellent communications skills, expert level experience in architecting mission critical applications across software and hardware platforms, strong full stack development skills and ETL techniques with significant knowledge in developing cloud-based solutions using Lean Agile methodology. Provide technical leadership for the evolving architectural capabilities of the entire solution. Works closely with Product Owners, System Engineers, and Technology Business Analysis to ensure that individual program and product strategies align with business and technical objectives. Facilitates important design decisions for development teams; local authority.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

+ Responsible for complex architectural design and development of software solutions utilizing the latest cloud technologies.

+ Designs integrated hardware and software architecture solutions that meet performance, scalability, reliability and security needs.

+ Researches and recommends technology to improve current systems or implement new systems.

+ Defines a shared technical and architectural vision focused on creating technical solutions that align holistically

+ Employs abstraction and generalization to preserve architectural flexibility;

+ Ensure that common technology, design practices, and infrastructure are used when applicable.

+ Partners with clients to understand their needs, analyzes and distills user requirements, develops technical solutions and advises clients to achieve overall objectives by implementing enterprise-wide solutions using the companys or a third-partys hardware/software product while analyzing technical trade-offs.

+ Provides training to members of the team on how to use new software and hardware.

+ Provides training to clients on new tools developed in house or acquired from a 3 rd party as needed.

+ Influence common modeling, design, and coding practices.

Preferred: Preferred Masters of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math; or equivalent experience.

Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science


Typically requires 7-10 years experience.

**Certification or Licenses**

Desired: Agile/SAFe certification, Microsoft Azure certifications

**Training and Special Skills**

Desired: WordPress, HTML, CSS, JS, Java, SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, Angular 11, Express, Database Design, Agile Development, Linux and Windows System Administration, Python, PHP, Knowledge of Security, Virtualization and Containerization, Hardware and Software installations.

Technical Career Pathway (TCP) role.
