Job summary
As a Principal Operations Program Manager, in Amazon's Consumer Robotics group, you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive, design and develop innovative consumer robots. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. You'll work closely with a team of manufacturing and supply chain experts to develop and validate world class manufacturing capabilities that deliver the right quantity, cost, and quality to Amazon€™s customers. Experience in new product design and development, contract manufacturing, and working in a high paced environment is a must.

A day in the life
€¢ Help develop process and teams to establish a shared engagement and development model of product development (e.g. JDM, ODM)
€¢ Lead an internal cross functional team and external vendor to deliver a next generation product.
€¢ Manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure the program achieves its program milestones, meets quality requirements, and meets/beats financial targets.
€¢ Deliver results on complex program launches involving cross-functional teams
€¢ Work with stakeholders to define program business requirements
€¢ Understand current system capabilities and limitations
€¢ Problem solves with team on program hurdles
€¢ Coordinate with cross functional teams to implementation
€¢ Travel as required (and as permitted)

It brings together new advancements in artificial intelligence, computer vision, sensor technology, voice and edge computing in a package that€™s designed to be helpful and convenient.


· Bachelor's Degree
· 10+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
· Experience with end to end product delivery
· Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
* Bachelor€™s degree in Engineering or related technical field
* 10+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects and programs with tight deadlines
* 10+ years of experience in product or process definition, having taken a product or process from concept to execution
* 5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics or manufacturing for a hardware device company


* Master€™s degree preferred
* Proven ability to influence others and facilitate agreement among stakeholders with different interests
* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to senior management, peers, and team member
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to build effective relationships in an open and collaborative environment
* Technical aptitude and familiarity with the design and utilization of complex systems
* Proven track record of complex and creative problem solving and the desire to create and build new processes
