Job Description

**Position Summary**

The incumbent will be responsible for leading the development of pricing recommendations for Pfizer China pharma products and partnering with senior commercial leaders to ensure pricing decisions are operational, compliant with internal and external guidance, and support Pfizer's short and long-term commercial interests. The ideal candidate is able to synthesize complex competitive and other external inputs and manage sensitive and proprietary company information with a prescient mindset.


**Position Responsibilities**

This position requires strong analytical and communication skills, a high level of professional maturity and an independent, self-starting work ethic.

+ Synthesizes complex and sometime ambiguous environmental inputs including international price referencing dynamics, cross-border risk, and new and emerging reimbursement opportunities (public and private).

+ Identifies high priority pricing issues in a timely manner and ensures key information is delivered and shared with all key stakeholders; also, as needed, helps the TA access leads to convene the cross-functional teams that need to be assembled to resolve critical pricing issues.

+ Works with Business Group leaders to align pricing decisions with BG commercial and overall Pfizer enterprise interests. Anticipates short-term and long-term outcomes and operational implementation of pricing decisions; ensures compliance with pricing revisions.

+ Partners with Global colleagues to support planning and management of submission of PSPs, as needed after alignment with country cross-functional teams.

+ Works independently on most assignments; self-initiates actions necessary to obtain desired results.

+ Leads key pricing projects as identified by BG and GMC leadership, marketing brand leads, and commercial development to ensure successful execution.

**Education & Experience**

+ Degree in Business Administration, preferably with major or specialization in finance, accounting, marketing, or strategy.

+ Minimum 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry. Experience with Pricing, FP&A, Marketing Planning, Business Analysis, Commercial Strategy, tenders or stakeholder experience in healthcare highly desirable.

**Skills & Capability Requirements**

+ Exhibit strong collaboration/relationship-building skills and ability to engage across multiple functions at a senior level.

+ Ability to anticipate issues/needs and to work proactively to address them.

+ Strong execution capabilities. Proven ability in managing operational activities to ensure compliance to regulation.

+ Possess a high energy level, sense of urgency, creativity, decisiveness, ability to work hard and well under pressure.

+ Professional maturity and presence with advanced written and verbal communications skills.

+ Strong mathematical and analytical skills; ability to evaluate information, draw conclusions and recommend improvements.
