Global Service Provider group (GSP) in Cisco is responsible for business with Service provider customers. We sell solutions and products that make Deutsche Telekom successful. We anticipate our customers' needs, as the world shifts in an unprecedented transformation and technology impacts everything. You will join a team of highly skilled Sales professionals working with Pre-Sales and Technology specialists. Join the Account team Deutsche Telekom & T-Systems in Germany, and make amazing things happen.

Are you a technical seller who understands how meaningful collaboration technology is? Do you love thinking creatively and overcoming objections? Then this is the position for you. Do you have experience selling Cisco specific products? Then thats even better! These types of products include WebEx video conferencing, TelePresence, Jabber, desktop and mobile endpoints, along with the entire Collaboration suite.

What You'll Do

  • You will be part of a top-tier sales team responsible for the direct Enterprise Business with Deutsche Telekom & T-Systems
  • You will be a customer-focused technical sales professional who provides high level technical support and guidance to customers.
  • You will collaborate with the Account Manager to recommend and develop appropriate customer solution offerings.
  • You will use your engagement experience and expertise to build Cisco's relevance in delivering solution development, partner ecosystem, marketing, etc.
  • You will provide an architectural perspective across the Cisco product portfolio and use your technical specialization for specific opportunities.
  • You will help plan for and move deals through the sales process by knowing how and when to engage the appropriate Cisco resources (such as CSE, SE, PSS, AS Engineers, etc.)
  • You will establish and maintain customer relationships
  • You will develop & present compelling business cases to customers, maintain expert-level knowledge of all elements of the business case, including the drivers of cost, benefit and risk.
  • You will partner closely with Engineers/Architects to align the technology architecture to the customer's desired business outcome and ensure customer success by orchestrating resources to assist the customer in realizing the full value of their technology investment.
  • We develop & lead business value based opportunities within targeted accounts - often over 12-24-month sales cycles.
  • You will enhance Cisco's solution portfolio over time, focused around key customer requirements and aligned with Cisco products and solutions.
  • You provide regular reporting of account engagement progress on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Provide a consultative relationship with the customer and collaborate with the team and business entities to develop customer focused architectures driving industry-wide innovation
  • You will be as a trusted advisor demonstrating the business value of Cisco solutions, architectures,
  • You will serve as the lead technical advocate for your customer within Cisco.
  • You will interpret the customers business, technical and market drivers, with the customers needs and transform that into strategic (long term) technical architecture to solve business problems
  • You look at a deep technical component of a solution and explain how it is meaningful to a customers business vs a competitor
  • You have skills to do a competitive analysis at the technical and business level flexibly as needed.

  • You are experienced in pre-sales account planning and experience in life cycle project planning.
  • You have project management and relationship experience Skills
  • You will need to have great team working skills as roles implies to working efficiently with many parties: Sales, customers, Cisco Business Units.
  • Ability to articulate a benefit proposition of a solution in front of both technical and non-technical audience
  • Demonstrated sales and consultative skills.
  • Good balance between hands-on capabilities and theoretical technical knowledge.
  • In-depth technical knowledge in several areas of specialization amongst
  • You have the strong ability to Influence internal and external resources and to collaborate with multiple account sellers
  • You are able to demonstrate value to the team and be seen as a Go To person for top issues
  • You understand customer business drivers and how to map these to a customer network platform Technical Acumen

Our minimum requirements for this role:

  • 5+ years of experience in Cisco Voice technologies Webex teams could services, Call Manager (CUCM) , Cisco Meeting Server (CMS), Unity Connection, Unified Presence, SME,SBC, IOS GW & GK configurations
  • Industry knowledge and hands-on experience with Video Conferencing and/or TelePresence, Webex Teams, Office 365 and Unified Communications products and underlying technologies is required.
  • Strong understanding and technical experience with IP-based communications network design, including TCP/IP and UDP, 802.3 Ethernet, WAN technologies, packet loss and Quality of Service (QoS) techniques is required.
  • Strong understanding and technical experience with IP-based communications signalling and media protocols, including Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), Real-time Transport Protocol (RTP), and compression algorithms including H.264, H.265, G.722, AAC, H.323, MGCP, SIP, SCCP, Q.SIG, CAS, ISDN PRI, FXO, FXS, and POTS
  • Typically requires BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent.
  • Cisco certifications CCNA, CCNP - CCIE is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Solid German and English language skills
