*Firm Portfolio Benefits Analyst*

*ABOUT US: *The* *Firm Portfolio management Office (Firm PMO)* *is an enterprise-level, strategic portfolio management office that serves as a critical link between enterprise vision and the work of the firm. It aims to provide a standard organizational methodology for planning, executing, staffing, prioritizing and learning from all efforts that comprise the firm's portfolio.

*POSITION SUMMARY:* This role will help support organizational and Technology leadership in their efforts at overseeing, managing and leveraging the entire life cycle of investments and initiatives (IT and non-IT), to optimally achieve enterprise goals and objectives.
The Firm Portfolio Benefits Analyst role is a primary resource to the Firm's Portfolio Governance Group, the Operating Forum as well as other product, program/project related steering committees.

*Key Responsibilities:*

* Facilitate and coordinate the efforts of the firm portfolio's governance committee toward the establishment of the portfolio definition, its structure and processes, from demand management and strategic alignment of products, projects and programs to portfolio categories and criteria, through evaluation, selection and prioritization; to execution, tracking and measuring the achieved results.

* Partner with our Firm Investment COE to develop and support our portfolio Benefits Management Strategy and ensure that it reflects the direction of the firm and continues to be fit for purpose

* Define, evaluate, recommend, monitor and assure benefits derived from component projects, programs, products and the overarching firm portfolio across the whole investment lifecycle

* Provide assurance that all selected component efforts (projects, programs, products with epics and features) are aligned to the agreed benefits strategy and map and any impact identified, ensuring cost/benefit analysis data of the component efforts business cases and how these align to the portfolio benefits map

* Support our system of forums' decision-making process by analyzing benefit options and predicting future costs, and manage the capital planning process for respective business segments.

* Support strategic business change within the firm by developing working practices which link benefits management into efficiency planning, performance measurement and value for money delivery ensuring benefit led effort prioritization

* Partner with Vendor Management to drive vendor evaluation and selection for new solutions, and work with Portfolio Insights Director to support and advice senior leadership on actions required to balance the portfolio

* Direct the development and maintenance of communications and reporting around the portfolio, their contents and the individual performance of initiatives to stakeholders

* On behalf of the Firm PMO, ensure the adherence to the appropriate governance functions relating to the portfolio and in accordance with firm guidelines, policies and practices.

* Partner with Program Delivery Director, to perform regular health checks of project and program QA checklists

* Identify staffing needs. As mandated and resourced by leadership, ensure and balance the availability of the required skills and competencies across project, program and product teams within the portfolio.

* Develop and maintain appropriate banking industry knowledge of common financial services concepts, practices and procedures



*Position Qualifications:*

*EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:*

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or the like, MBA preferred

* 7-10 years of diverse roles and increasing leadership responsibilities across major projects and programs and/or products.

* Experience leading projects for banking operations, loan servicing, and enterprise risk departments at a financial institution preferred but not required

* Experience with Digital Transformation and customer experience improvement initiatives.


* Demonstrated experience in managing "upward" among senior leadership, and leading diverse teams

* Consulting leadership experience a plus


*CERTIFICATIONS:*

* Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent and/or Portfolio Management Professional desired

* Scrum Master Certification and PMI Risk Management Professional Certification desired

* Program Management Professional (PGMP) and Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred
